So I had posted about Waffle Flower's March release earlier this month while waiting for the package to arrive. It took a lot longer than usual as the box was literally destroyed in transit. I'm pretty sure someone sat on it then proceeded to kick it across the border - that said tho the USPS managed to bag up the box and everything did arrive perfectly fine (stamps and dies are pretty sturdy thankfully!) it just took a while.
Anywho - it's all arrived and I got everything die cut to show y'all so here's the big March/Creativation release and my thoughts on all of it:
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.
Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
Hey everyone!! No video with this post (YET) - the package with the new stamps and dies is slowly making it's way here but I wanted to share in the mean time!
You can check out the March 2019 Release HERE <------click! plus I have links to it all below (it's a BIG release but note that I have links to the combo sets first (stamps and coordinating dies) and then the stamp set and die set individually - options!!):
Hello everyone!! It's time for Waffle Flowers February Release! You can check out the release HERE <------click! and I've got links to all the stamps and dies individually as well as the stamp and die bundles below:
To celebrate the new release there's a fun blog hop with a bunch of inspiration and giveaways! If you didn't get here from the Waffle Flower blog I'll have links to all the stops below as well!
Here's what I made with a couple of the new sets:
I created 4 cards using the Be Her stamp set and the Label Greetings set. I clear heat embossed the critters after stamping them with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto water-colour paper, then watercolored them with Prima and Gansai Tambi water-colours.
I did all the backgrounds with the same watercolors, and white heat embossed the sentiments on black card stock then die cut them with coordinating dies.
All the critters and sentiments were adhered with foam tape, and I added some of Waffle Flowers enamel dots to the backgrounds.
I finished off the insides of the cards by stamping each of the critters with Distress Oxide inks, and also stamped them onto matching envelopes for each card. I then adhered the thanks sentiments to the insides and that was it!

Hello everyone!! Waffle Flower has a FABULOUS new release this month - a bunch of awesome stamps and dies and even enamel dots!!
There's a blog hop today with a bunch of inspiration plus there's a GIVEAWAY (more info on that at the end of the post!!).
I couldn't resist using the new Group Hugs stamp set to make a card for my Valentine's Day series:
Isn't it the cutest image ever? I clear heat embossed it onto Bee watercolor paper after stamping it with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then used my Prima watercolors to color it all in. Once it was dry I added some dots and highlights with my white gel pen and then die cut it with the coordinating wafer die.
I painted a background with the same watercolor paper and more Prima watercolors, and adhered the Group Hugs image to it along with white heat embossed sentiments from the set.
The enamel dots are NEW from Waffle Flower - and they're so pretty! I used the Up and Running pack as the colors were PERFECT for this card.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the Group Hug image with Fog ink then stamped the little outline heart from the set with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink and that was it!

Hello everyone! It's the 5th of the month - which means a new release from Waffle Flower!
This is a smaller release (it always looks like more as you can get the stamps and coordinating dies separately or in a bundle) with the CUTEST little mini sets and a couple of amazing larger sets:
And to celebrate the release and provide inspiration there's a hop AND a giveaway too!!
If you didn't get here from the Waffle Flower blog I'll have links to all the stops on this hop further down in my post!
I was so excited to see this new Thinking of You stamp set. I have the Always set with the same girl image (in that one she's holding a bird) that I made a card with HERE. This time she's holding a cat and the stamp is much bigger.
I ended up making three cards because I couldn't settle on one - plus they all started with a simple card design and then I step it up a bit for each card following:
I heat embossed the image onto white card stock using Ranger's Liquid Platinum embossing powder. For the first card that was it. The detail and size of the image lends itself nicely to just stamping or heat embossing the image, adding a sentiment and you're done!
For the second card I did the same thing, but offset the image on the white card stock. I then stamped the new Halftone Background onto the card base with Simon Says Stamp Stone ink. I added the sentiment and some glitter paper that I tinted with the same Stone ink. It's still a simple card - but more detail and more involved than the first clean and simple card.
For my third card I used the same embossing powder but this time I heat embossed it onto watercolor card stock. I then did some simple watercoloring with a couple of my Prima palettes. Once dry I die cut the image with a large stitched rectangle die. I don't have any card stock that matched the Stone ink color - so I blended that onto my white card base.
On all three cards I finished the insides by stamping the main image with the Stone ink and that was it!

Hello everyone!! I have a LONG blog post with several cards today - it's new release time for Waffle Flower, plus I wanted to create more Christmas cards!! This post is part of a blog hop so if you didn't get here from the Waffle Flower blog you can start HERE and then I'll have links to all the other stops below!
There's also a GIVEAWAY with this post!! Info on that is at the end of this post!
So here are the newest stamps and dies from the Waffle Flower November release:
SO. MUCH. FUN!!
I made 2 different cards using the new Holiday Thanks stamp set:
My first card I stamped the image onto Distress watercolor card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed it. I then watercolored it in with Prima Classics watercolors, and once dry I die cut it with the coordinating wafer dies.
I blended Festive Berries and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink onto the card base, and once it was dry I white heat embossed a sentiment from the set onto the card base.
I adhered the scene to the card with Simon's Craft Tacky glue, and then added all the extra little images to finish off my scene.
For the second card I used a red card stock for my card base and heat embossed the image and sentiment with gold embossing powder. Honestly it could have been left at that but I wanted to add some more depth so I sponged on Candied Apple, Aged Mahogany and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks onto the card base as well.
I then added some Wink of Stella to different areas of the images to give them a TON of sparkle.
For both cards I stamped the insides with the same image to finish them off.
Once I got creating I couldn't stop LOL! These stamps and dies are from last month's release - links to all the products are down below!
I used the Pull Tab Tree wafer die to create my Christmas tree - and it literally pops up when you pull on the tab!! I then added all these cute kids from the Yippee stamp set and the Santa hats are from the Holiday Thanks set that I used above!
On the inside of the card I stamped images from the Christmas Tree stamp set using the same Oxide inks that I sponged on the front of the card.
For the second card I used the Pull Tab Tree dies again along with the Pull Tab Pop Up wafer dies - this came together SO quick and easy. I die cut all the "boughs" from green glitter card stock, and then attached them all to the tree "base".
I kept this card really clean and simple - but adding some gems/crystals as "ornaments" could really jazz it up if you wanted to!
Last but not least is a "bonus" card - which inspired my Christmas card above. I saw this card idea on Channin's blog a few weeks ago and thought it was brilliant and wanted to recreate it!!
Using the Pull Tab dies to create a party hat is brilliant (and in her post she made it into candy corn as well LOL!). I had ONE of these fun little glitter pom poms in my stash from one of my kids. It was the final push I needed to make this card as I didn't have anything before to add the "topper" to the birthday hat lol!
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Holiday Thanks set and then stamped the confetti and stars with a rainbow of Distress Inks and that was it!

So many fun products - really cute stamps and a really unique tree stamp set and funky wafer dies (I'll have a video showing those coon - they look so weird but are so easy to put together!! In the hop you'll see some examples of it!)
Speaking of - yes there's a blog hop to celebrate this release!
I couldn't resist the new Hello Pumpkin and Coffee Time stamp sets. These little mice are SO beyond cute and pairing them with coffee of course makes my day.
I stamped all the images onto Neenah Solar White 80lb card stock with GinaK Amalgam ink and coloured them in with Copic Markers, added highlights with my white gel pen then die cut them with their coordinating wafer dies.
The coffee cups I also stamped onto patterned papers and paper-pieced the wraps of the cups.
This last one is a gift card holder made with Waffle Flowers Love Notes wafer die!
I finished off the insides of the cards with the Coffee Time set, and that was it!

Hooray!! The latest STAMPtember® collab was just revealed and it's with Waffle Flower!! What's even more exciting (to me anyway) is that it coordinates PERFECTLY with the Hocus Pocus stamp set they released this month - which I already made 2 cards and a video for it here:
Also there's a category on Simon Says Stamp for ALL the STAMPtember® exclusives HERE <-----click! Like previous STAMPtember® collaboration sets - these are exclusive to Simon Says Stamp and while supplies last. Once they're sold out and/or STAMPtember® is over they're gone!
I created a fun little Halloween scene using all the images from the Sweet Tooth set combined with a couple more images from the Hocus Pocus stamp set (the cat and the broom - HAD to include those LOL).
I stamped all the images onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock with Simon's Intense Black ink and coloured them in with Copics. Apologies for the crappy picture - I couldn't find my black pen (and yet I have a handful of them in my office) so I used a purple one to write down all the colors I used and my camera didn't like the neon pink sticky note with purple ink writing!
I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Landscape for my background, and MFT's Mini Cloud Edges Stencil for the sky.
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Sweet Tooth stamp set along with several of the images from both the Sweet Tooth and Hocus Pocus sets and that was it!

Now for the giveaway info!
Last year I started giving away and mailing out the Halloween cards I made for my series. A lot of you really enjoyed that so I decided to continue it this year! If you're interested in winning this card just follow the steps in the RaffleCopter widget below (make sure you're using a current e-mail address that you check frequently (I don't keep/see any person info other than the winner's e-mail address) as that's what I use to contact the winner!).
As embarrassing as it is to admit - I've been stamping for over 15 years now and I've NEVER made up swatches for any of my stamping inks 😱. It's ridiculous and I know it. I really hate fiddling with documents and my printer (I love to hate that thing) and whatnot so any sort of printable swatch files I struggled with - and then put off doing anything about it. THIS tho.... I'm actually looking forward to getting my inks organized and swatched out after I'm settled in from the move (we're moving this weekend too LOL!).
OK - so that's my excitement about that little set. Lets just say this whole release is awesome. There's a blog hop going on too - I'll have links to everyone lower down in the post. There's also GIVEAWAY info at the end of it!
I of course had to ink up the new Hocus Pocus set and make a couple of Halloween cards:
I created backgrounds on Distress Watercolor paper using Distress Oxide inks and painting them on with a paintbrush. For the card on the right I painted on Mowed Lawn and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks. For the card on the left I started with Mowed Lawn, Wilted Violet and Carved Pumpkin, then painted over all of it with Black Soot Oxide ink. Once it was dry I splattered it with Copic Opaque White paint to create a galaxy background.
The Hocus Pocus images I stamped onto Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb card stock with GinaK Amalgam ink and coloured them in with Copics and highlighted with my white gelly roll pen. I then used the coordinating wafer dies to cut them all out.
I adhered all the images with either liquid glue or foam dots, and white heat embossed sentiments from the stamp set onto black card stock.
I finished off the insides of the cards with more sentiments from the set and the remaining stamped and coloured images and that was it!

Hello everyone!! I wanted to play around some more with my Prima Watercolors since they're still new (to me) - and made a fun rainbow background with them that I turned into several cards:
For these first 2 I used Simon Says Stamp's new Folk Dance wafer die and layered it over the rainbow background. I. LOVE. THIS. DIE. Seriously is it not gorgeous? I love how the colors look peeking through.
I used Simon's Big Thanks and Big Friends wafer die sets for the main sentiments, and then white heat embossed sentiments from the Messages for Everyday stamp set (links to everything I used are at the end of the post!)
For the last 2 cards I wanted to show off more of the background so I used Waffle Flower's new Lacy Flower XL wafer die - also GORGEOUS.
I stacked 2 layers of the Lacy Flower XL die cuts together then used the same Simon die cut and heat embossed sentiments. To finish off these cards I used some Pearl White Jewels from Pretty Pink Posh!
I kept the insides simple with more white heat embossed sentiments - you can see that in the video:

Hello everyone! SUPER exciting new release from Waffle Flower this month - I think these new stamps and dies are going to become staples in a lot of crafters stashes!
You can check out all the new products here:
And this release has an awesome blog hop and a giveaway as well! I'll have all the links to the stops on the hop and info on the giveaway at the end of the post!
There is a TON of info for this release, WaffleFlower has provided a video and charts and printables which you can check out HERE. There will be more info in the hop posts (which I'm super excited to check out) and more to come! For some additional info from a non-cardmakers perspective I highly recommend checking out Steve Mitchell's video review of the swatch stamps. He has the Mind of Watercolor YouTube channel and there's SO much good info in his videos!
I used the new Color Swatches stamp set along with the tag die from the Swatch Tag Die set to create simple color swatches for the Prima watercolor palettes that I got my hands on recently.
I stamped part of the large swatch stamp onto watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx black ink, added the lines and info with a fine black Sharpie pen and then coloured them all in. I die cut them with the swatch tag die and now they can fit in the original Prima tins or they can be put on a ring for reference.
While I was creating the swatches I decided to make a card using the swatch stamp:
I stamped the full image onto watercolor paper and watercolored it with with the Prima Classics watercolor set.
I used images from the Little Painters stamp set, and then added a sentiment from the Rainbows stamp set.
I finished off the inside of the card with another sentiment from the Rainbows set and the two little mice from the Little Painters stamp set and that was it!

What better way to start off a Friday the 13th then with rainbow hula hooping hippos?
I used the Hip Hip Hooray stamp set from Waffle Flower and stamped them onto Neenah Solar White 80lb Classic Crest card stock with Ink on 3's Blackout Ink. I coloured them in with Copic markers then added glitter with a Sakura Stardust Pen and highlights with a white gel pen.
To create my background on my card bases I used MFT's Radiating Rays stencil and a bunch of Distress Inks that I sponged on in rainbow order. I popped up the hippos with mini Action Wobbles so they wiggle and move!
I finished off the insides of the cards with another sentiment from the Hip Hip Hooray stamp set and that was it!

Hey everyone! It's July 5th which means Waffle Flower's released some NEW stamps and dies!!
You can check out all the new products here (it looks like a lot - but there's 4 new stamp sets and 5 sets of dies. With Waffle Flower you can get just the stamps and/or just the dies or get them in a "combo" set and they come in the new WF rainbow vinyl envelopes to store them together):
AND since it's a new release there's a fun blog hop going along to celebrate!
Also stay tuned to the end as there's GIVEAWAY info!!
Here's what I created:
I couldn't resist the gorgeous coneflower image in the new Bouquet Builder 2 set. And as usual since I couldn't decide on what color I stamped it multiple times and coloured them a rainbow of colors.
I used my Mission Gold watercolors for all the watercoloring, and then used the coordinating die to cut them all out.
The backgrounds were done with Distress Oxide inks after being die cut with the largest of the WF A2 Nesting Rectangles 1 Die set. I stamped the sentiment from the Bouquet Builder 2 set onto my background panel then adhered all my die cut flowers to it.
I added some bling with some Studio Katia chunky glitter to the cones of the flowers and used the larger chunky glitter on the background.
I finished off the insides of the cards by stamping the coneflowers with various Distress Oxide inks and that was it!

I used the new Spice Garden stamp set and coordinating dies to make my cards for today:
I white heat embossed the images onto Bristol Smooth card stock, and then sponged various Distress Oxide Inks over them before die cutting them with the coordinating dies.
I sponged Distress Oxide inks on to my card bases as well and added some splatter with the inks and water before letting that dry then adding my die cut images on top with foam squares. I added a simple sentiment from the set with black ink then added some Studio Katia Sparkling Clear Crystals to finish them off.
On the insides of the cards as well as on coordinating envelopes I stamped the same images from each card with the same Distress Oxide inks I used to sponge on the color. I stamped everything then stamped a second time without re-inking the stamp to get the variation, and that was it!

I've been wanting to use Waffle Flower's Always stamp set for a while now, and decided to try my hand at some "no line" watercolor. Except I don't have the time/patience for that - so this is more of a "faux no-line" watercolor LOL!
I stamped the images with Ink on 3's Fadeout ink, then used my Arteza Real Brush Pens and a water brush to color it all in. I ended up outlining all the images with Arteza Fineliner Pens in similar colors as I liked how that looked and gave some of the definition back.
I used Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide for the background, and embellished with Studio Katia Snow and Iridescent Crystals.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping a sentiment and the bird from the Always set with SSS Slate and Blue Jay inks and that was it!
