Hello everyone! I'm part of a blog hop today to celebrate Waffle Flowers NEW Patterned Paper! Not only is there a ton of inspo in the hop (start HERE for the links and stops on the hop!) but there's GIVEAWAY info at the end of my post!
Here's a quick bit of info on the new patterned paper release:
Waffle Flower now offers pattern paper! These papers are designed by cardmakers, so expect to see some new and innovative approaches!
For example, Waffle Flower paper pads measure a generous 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches (half-page of US Letter size). They settled on this size to give cardmakers more paper and less waste! Simply fold each page in half to make a standard landscape A2 card. Or trim a page in half to make two A2-sized card fronts. This larger size can also be used for A7-sized cards (5"x7"). The beauty of our unique page sizing allows us to have half-half designs. For more details, visit their paper introduction page here.
You can check out all the new packs here:
Waffle Flower is also Simon Says Stamp's Brand of the Month for April! You can shop Waffle Flower products HERE <-------click! and with purchases of $25 or more in WF products get the Dots & Lines Half Half paper pack FREE with the code WFR549 *while supplies last. Note the current shipping restrictions due to COVID-19 HERE
I had bought the stamp and die set back in the fall and meant to use them in my Christmas Card series but life got in the way. I pulled them out to use for these cards as some of the sentiments are great for any occasion plus the dies make these cute cards!
All the "mittens" were die cut from Flock Transfer sheets (all the colors I used are linked below). So they're all fuzzy but not at all bulky. Plus because the flock transfer sheets have paper backing they're REALLY easy to adhere!
I used sentiments from the Holiday Hugs stamp set to stamp on the front of the card base and the inside with black ink and that completed each card!
To see how these cards came together check out my video below:
And if you didn't start at the beginning of this hop you can find all the links and info HERE on the Waffle Flower blog <------click!

I couldn't help myself lol! I LOOOOVVVEEE black, gold and white together! I used the new Waffle Flower Blossoms stamp set (y'all know I love me some large floral stamps!), and since the floral cluster is so big it seemed PERFECT for this combo - AND lent itself to 2 cards easily.
I stamped the large floral stamp onto white card stock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, and gold heat embossed it onto the black card stock. On both cards I used the new Oversized Love wafer die - die cutting it from white glitter card and gold glitter card and stacking each with a couple of layers of card stock.
I stamped the large Blossoms image onto the inside of both cards with Delicata Golden Glitz ink and then stamped in black and heat embossed in gold one of the sentiments from the Blossoms set and that was it!

This is a somewhat lacking post - I'm dealing with a severe chest cold (ALL my kids have been coughing and whatnot, Chris got a horrible cold and then it hit me the hardest of all). And as it always seems to happen when I get a cold like this - I have no voice left. So no videos at the moment (which is why I haven't posted anything since the beginning of the week - this one's knocked me right off my game).
So today's post is part of the new release blog hop. I'll have the links to the hop, and there's GIVEAWAY info at the end. Once my voice is back I'll finish the video for my card too!
I used the new Lattice Panel die on my card base - just die cutting it from the same white card stock so that it adds texture but isn't distracting from the main images. The sentiments are from the same Peony Bouquet stamp set and I heat embossed them with Inkon3's Black as Night embossing powder. I used the Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer pen again on the sentiment for some more sparkle.
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.

I'm part of a blog hop today sharing ideas using some of the new products - I'll have links to the other stops as well as giveaway info at the end of the post!
Waffle Flower has a new designer starting this month and she created this adorable Flower girl stamp set. I used the set and coordinating wafer dies for my card today - it's SO cute and there are so many little add-on options for it!
I stamped the flower girl image onto Bristol Smooth card stock with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I then stamped the flowers on her dress with clear embossing ink and heat embossed them with Rangers Lavender Speckle embossing powder. I did the same thing with her wings before adhering them.
The card base was stamped with the new Poppy Hawthorne image with black ink. I also used a thank you sentiment from that set and white heat embossed it onto black card stock before die cutting it with the coordinating wafer die set.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the Poppy Hawthorne image again - this time with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide ink and that was it!

Hello everyone! Waffle Flower's August Release is now available! You can check it all out at the links below:
As always there's a blog hop with TONS of inspiration and lots of tips and info as there are more awesome swatch sets and dies with a lot of different possibilities! I show one option in my post and video but there's a whole lot more in the hop and on Waffle Flowers site. I'll have links to the other stops as well as giveaway info at the end too!
I can now attach all the tags with the swatches to a binder ring and keep them in the container I have all the Aqua Flow brush pens in.
After I was done all those swatches I decided to put them to use and make a card with the new Bouquet Builder 5 combo set:
I white heat embossed all the images from the Bouquet Builder 5 set onto Canson XL water-colour paper and coloured them all in with the Aqua Flow brush colors I'd picked out.
I used the Shutters Panel wafer die on the card base - keeping it all white on white so as to add a bit of texture but not distract from the florals. The sentiment is from the previously released Peony Notes set.
For the inside of the card I decided to experiment and inked up the stamp with the Aqua Flow brushes I'd used to watercolor the images. These aren't meant for stamping but it worked!
To see how I made all the swatches and this card check out my video below:

Hello everyone! Waffle Flower's July release just went live! You can check it all out at the links below!
I'm part of a blog hop to celebrate and share inspiration with the new release. I'll have links to all the stops below as well as giveaway info at the end!
I decided to step outside my comfort zone and create some Christmas cards in July! I know Christmas in July is a thing but I usually REALLY struggle with holiday-themed cards anytime earlier than fall LOL. AKA I just don't do them. However I sent out almost my entire Christmas card stash last year to friends and , and I need to make a TON more for this year to send out. So if I start now there's a better chance I'll actually get them all made and sent out!
I couldn't resist doing my black, white and gold combo with them and ended up making 4 cards to start off my 2019 Christmas Card stash!
On my first two cards I created black card bases and gold and white heat embossed the snowflakes from the Oversized Merry stamp set onto them. I added some gold splatter, and then adhered the die cut Oversized Merry that I'd cut from black card stock and gold glitter card stock.
On the white cards I gold embossed the snowflakes, and then stamped them with black ink. The Oversized Merry die cut was cut from black glitter card stock and white card stock before being stacked and adhered to the cards.
I stamped the insides of the cards as well as the envelopes with the snowflakes using Delicata Golden Glitz ink and that was it!

This post is also part of a hop with a bunch of inspiration using this release. If you didn't get here from Cathy's blog you can start at the beginning of the hop here! There's also giveaway info at the end of my post so stay tuned to the end!
I gold heat embossed the peony's onto Bristol smooth card stock, then used some of my Nuvo Aqua Flow water-colour pens to color them in.
I also used the French Wine Aqua Flow pen to paint the background which I splattered with water once dry. The sentiments are from the Peony Notes stamp set and I stamped them with Peeled Paint Archival ink and then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I finished off the inside of the card with the second smaller peony image that I'd heat embossed and watercolored. I die cut it, adhered it with Craft Tacky glue and then stamped another sentiment from the set and that was it!

Hey all! I'm back with another video! I am trying to do a Sunday clean up here in my office (albeit slowly - I'm still struggling with bronchitis so I get tired out practically immediately - but I'm most definitely on the mend so I'll take what I can get) and have Waffle Flower's May Release sitting here. I decided to film a quick Release & Review video showing the new products and my random thoughts and inspirations since I'm now somewhat buried under other tasks and no energy!!
If you missed my earlier post that's part of the blog hop for this release you can check it all out here:
And as always y'all can watch in HD over on YouTube HERE <------click!
And links to everything I showed in the video are below! Have a fabulous day everyone!! ❤️❤️❤️

I couldn't resist the new Go Girl stamps and dies - there is SO many ways you can personalize and customize them!! Since I'm still getting over a horrible chest cold I kept things simpler today:
I used up a bunch of scraps of card stock and die cut everything with the new Go Girl dies. I stamped their faces onto card stock with Tea Dye Distress Oxide ink and fussy cut them with scissors. I stamped the different lip options with Festive Berries Oxide ink, then assembled them directly onto the cards and bookmarks.

Hello everyone! I hope y'all are having a great weekend so far!
My littlest little turned 4 last week and after asking his favorite color (purple) and having a discussion about dinosaurs I combined the two to make his birthday card:
Simon Says Stamp's Picture Book T-Rex OF COURSE made an appearance on this card along with Picture Book Dino and a bunch of other wafer dies LOL!
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.

Happy Friday again!! I'm SUPER excited to be a part of a special hop for Waffle Flower's NEW Water Media Mat. They revealed the mat at Creativation at the beginning of the year and everyone's been chomping at the bit to get one ever since!!
And for those that haven't been "in the know" about this mat and wondering what all the fuss is about - here's what I'm talking about:
It doesn't look like much in it's product picture - but trust me it's AMAZING - and it's also a lot bigger than it seems (outside dimensions are about 17.5 x 11").
Not only are there these graphics - Waffle Flower has been posting videos all week and we're all doing videos for this hop today showing a bunch of different ways to use this mat. You can find all the links to the participants in the hop HERE on the Waffle Flower Blog. Also stay tuned to the end of the post as there's GIVEAWAY info!!
Here's the card I created:
I used the new Bouquet Builder 3 stamp set for this card and stamped all the images onto water-colour paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I then used Distress Inks to watercolor the flowers with a paintbrush and water.
The background of the card was made with Distress Inks and some Distress Oxide ink smooshing on the Water Media mat. Once everything was dry and assembled I added a bunch of Nuvo Dream Drops in Dragon Scales and Cloud 9.
I kept the inside of the card simple and just stamped the large bouquet with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and that was it!
To see how this card came together check out my video below:

Hello everyone!! It's time for Waffle Flower's April release! I'm part of the blog hop today and there are giveaways and all sorts of exciting things going on for this release!
First off - the April release is a smaller one (especially compared to the MASSIVE March release!). Waffle Flower wanted to keep this release smaller as we're concentrating on some of the new March products that were released, with some add-ons this month. PLUS you can now pre-order the highly anticipated Water Media Mat!! I have links to the release below as well as to the pre-order and there will be more info (and videos!) coming on the Water Media Mat in about a week so stay tuned!
With the new release we're also focusing on the Birthdays and Basics items that Waffle Flower released last month as Waffle Flower turns 5 this month!! I did a Release & Review video showing all these HERE if you missed it!
OK now on to my cards.
I created 2 fun and easy backgrounds for my cards using Distress Oxide Sprays. I simply masked off the areas with acetate and scraps of copy paper and sprayed the card stock. Once I was finished I die cut each background with the second largest A2 Layers wafer die.
I used the new Tumble On and Batter stamp sets for my cards. I ADORE these character stamps from Waffle Flower - there's just something about them that really appeals to me! I stamped all the images onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card stock with Ink on 3's Blackout Ink and did some really simple Copic colouring. I think that's one reason why these images appeal so much - they don't require a ton of in-depth colouring etc - they're cute enough as-is LOL!
I finished off the insides of the cards with the remaining characters and sentiments and that was it!
