Hello friends! I have been buried in taxes and paperwork and a million other things the last couple of weeks. But now most of it's taken care of and I can get back to posting videos for y'all!
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.

Hey friends! I have another card and video for y'all for my 2022 Valentine's Series - if you missed any of the previous posts so far you can find them all at the links below:
For today's card I thought I'd pull out one of my Nuvo Glacier Pastes as I haven't used them in a looooonnnggg time. They're up to 14 colors now and I JUST got the 2 newest ones in a recent order - so of course I had them on my mind.

Yay!! As promised I have another fun, FLAT (and ridiculously easy) shaker card to share with y'all! This one was inspired by Ilda Dias <-------click! to check out her blog! She did THIS POST a few weeks ago and I legit went and ordered the Tonic Shaker Pockets immediately after seeing it. You can check out those pockets at SSS here: Tonic's Flat Shaker Pockets - they come in A2 size, 5x7" size, 6x6" size and slimline size. Ilda was the one who approached Tonic along with Studio Katia about them and Tonic made them happen. I LOVE Ilda's cards (I highly recommend y'all follow her for a ton of inspiration), I LOVE Studio Katia, and I have been using Tonic products for years and years now (and designed for them at one point too).
SO - if you missed yesterday's shaker card post you can check that out here:

Hello friends! WooHoo!! I'm at post/video #17 in my 2020 Christmas card series. My plan is to always do 25 (at least - maybe.....MAYBE I can squeeze in a few more - I have more ideas and stamps and dies than I have time for every year (and always buying more....🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️)) but we shall see how many I can post this year! If you missed any of this years I have links to all of them at the end of this post.
Recently Waffle Flower released several more of their patterned paper pads:
If you aren't familiar with Waffle Flowers patterned paper packs - they're 80lb weight and measure 8.5 x 5.5". So if you score the sheet in half you have a patterned A2 card base. I did a post when they first started releasing patterned paper here:
Waffle Flower sent me some of their new Christmas papers and the Happy Gnomes stamp set which coordinates with the Happy Gnomes paper pack. I couldn't resist making a bunch of cards and tags using them:
After they were all dry I die cut them with the coordinating wafer dies and then die cut a bunch of the papers from the Happy Gnomes paper pack to make all these cards and tags:
I splattered Picket Fence Distress paint on 2 different papers from the Happy Gnomes paper pack and used those to create scenes for my cards. The mushroom papers from the pack I die cut with a circle wafer die to create a spotlight for the images and sentiments. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from Waffle Flowers Essential Sentiments combo set with the coordinating wafer dies.
On the insides of all the cards I used the patterned papers from the Happy Gnomes paper pack - all the little characters in the papers are the same size as the stamp set so you can use the coordinating wafer dies for the stamp set on the papers. I die cut a bunch of them and used them to create little scenes on the insides of all the cards.
To finish off all the cards and tags I used several different Nuvo Crystal Drops (specific colors are listed and linked below!) and let those dry and that was it!
To see how all these came together check out my video below:

I used the new Sneaky Kitties wafer die from the DieCember release and created simple tri-fold cards by making the black cardstock I die cut the kitties from into a 3rd panel.

Hey everyone! After the last couple of posts with Christmas cards in much more traditional colors I really wanted to go NON-traditional again - and this is what I ended up with:
I layered a bunch of the die cuts from the Festive Noel dies and then popped up the letters with a bit of foam tape. I cut down some of Tonic's Peach Parfait Hand Crafted Cotton paper for my card front and matted that with some Concord & 9th Evergreen card stock. I also added several different Nuvo drops in all different finishes (links below to each specific one!).

On the insides of the cards I stamped the backgrounds with Simon's clear embossing ink, and on the insides and outsides I used sentiments from the Reverse Holiday Sentiment Strips pack. I finished off the cards with a bunch of Studio Katia bling and that was it!

Hello friends! I meant to get this post and video up sooner but we got a TON of snow over the weekend and it's taken 2 days to shovel it all out so we can get out of the house!
Anywho - this is part of my 2020 Christmas Card series - if you've missed any of the previous posts so far you can find them all here:

First off: Simon Says Stamp had a new release yesterday:
You can check out the NEW Holly Jolly Release HERE <--------click! if you haven't already! AND - because this post is part of a blog hop I have this to share with y'all:
If you shop at Simon Says Stamp during this blog hop you can get a FREE exclusive Speckled Egg Mini Distress Ink Pad with any purchase using the code SPGKN7
Like I mentioned this post is part of a blog hop to share ideas for the Holly Jolly release! I'll have links to the other stops on the hop lower down in the post AND there's GIVEAWAY info as well at the end!
OK on to my card and video:
This is a 5x7" card.
Yes - I made a 5x7 card. I can't even remember when I made a card this size last. It's not a size I tend towards however I had so many things I wanted to put on this card and didn't want to crowd them onto a standard A2 card so I went bigger!
I used the new Lumen Embossing Folder (SO excited about those too - Simon released several of them in the Holly Jolly release!) on more Neenah card stock. Of course I had a hard time getting a decent picture of the texture - it's fabulous. Plus I thought it really looks like a blanket texture when paired with the images from the Rest Queen set.
On the inside of the card I stamped the large sentiment from the Rest Queen set with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink and then added a white heat embossed sentiment from the set and that was it!

Apologies for the not-so-great pics. My camera was going haywire over the foil accents in the card stock and the reflection was making it difficult to get pics of! I couldn't resist using the card stock though - it's GORGEOUS (and I showed it in depth in the Tonic Rustic Rose Haul I posted the other day HERE).
On the insides of the card I heat embossed more sentiments from the Merry Buzzword stamp set with the Pearled Pistachio embossing powder and that was it!

Hello everyone!! I've been dealing with stress headaches for the last few days (fun times) and wasn't able to get videos up. However stay tuned as there will be a bunch coming from here on out!

I heat embossed the Simon Says Stamp Spider Web Background onto watercolor paper using Nuvo Pearl Lustre embossing powder. I then sprinkled on 3 different Shimmer Powders onto each background. On the left card I used Cherry Bomb, Lunar Rocket, and Storm Cloud. On the right card I used Lunar Rocket, Meteorite Shower and Lilac Waterfall.
I painted the Cherry Bomb Shimmer powder and the Lilac Waterfall Shimmer Powder onto another piece of watercolor paper. Once it was dry I die cut it with the Trick or Treat wafer die and adhered them to the outlines cut from vellum

So today's video is most likely the longest one I've ever done (clocks in at around 45 mins lol!) - I had a lot to say and a whole bunch of random tips and tricks thrown in that I didn't want to edit out. I hope y'all enjoy it! I couldn't resist this collection from Tonic - all the colors and everything together were just too much for me to resist.
