Told y'all so. Aren't they all fabulous?
I will have links to the other stops on today's hop (today is day 3 of 3 days of inspiration) as well as giveaway info lower down in the post!
OK here's what I made:
I used the new Layered Apple Stencil and Layered Foliage Stencil over Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and Distress Oxide inks. I also used the same stencils and inks on the insides of the cards.
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.
Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! AND FYI there is a coordinating wafer die set for the Home Sweet Haunted Home Stamp Set (not included in the kit) HERE <-------click!
Like previous Limited Edition Kits this kit is NOT part of the Simon Says Stamp Monthly Kit Subscription - this is a standalone kit and is only available while supplies last!
While we're at it there are still these STAMPtember® collab sets available (and there will be more collab releases coming - we're only halfway through the month! 😉):
With all the collab sets released this month they are one and done. Meaning when they sell out they are not restocked and are gone for good. There will be PLENTY of amazing sets released this month and I hope to have video inspiration for all of them so stay tuned.
OK back to the kit. I have an unboxing video along with 3 cards I made using some of the elements in the kit:
I used the patterned papers, stamp set, Sassy Witch Hat wafer die and one of the glitter papers in the kit to make my cards. I even did a little stamp surgery to make the candy corn background for the second card 😉😬.
To see the unboxing as well as how these cards came together check out my video below:

Here's what I made with the Pawsitively Awesome stamp set:
I stamped the images from the Pawsitively Awesome set onto Distress watercolor paper with Nocturne ink. I then watercolored them with the new Distress Watercolor Pencils and a water brush.
I used Studio Katia's Love for Paws stencil and a variety of Simon's Pawsitively Saturated inks, and die cut the rainbow panel with one of Simon's Nested Domed Arches wafer dies.

I stamped Simon's Mom's Spring Flowers image onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Nocturne ink and then watercolored them with the Distress Watercolor Pencils. I added gold splatter, and die cut Simon's Matte Gold cardstock with the Bold Thanks wafer die and stacked it for dimension.
On the inside of the card I stamped the Mom's Spring Flowers image with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink, and then added a sentiment from the Extra Talkative stamp set and that was it!

Hey friends! Post and video #2 from me today! If you missed my earlier post you can find that here:
With all the collab sets released this month they are one and done. Meaning when they sell out they are not restocked and are gone for good. There will be PLENTY of amazing sets released this month and I hope to have video inspiration for all of them so stay tuned.

I loved the large snowflake images (and the variety of sentiments!) in this Winter Crystals stamp set. I inked them up with Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves and Peacock Feathers Distress inks and added mists of water before stamping them.
I stamped the sentiments from the set with Nocturne ink, and added a bunch of bling to the snowflakes on the fronts of the cards and that was it!

Here's what I created with the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set:
I heat embossed the largest images from the Beautiful Moments set with Simon's Cream Embossing Powder onto Canson XL watercolor paper. I then used a variety of Distress Oxide inks to watercolor everything in.
I used some of the same inks to ink up the same images to stamp on the inside of the card and that was it!

Hey friends! I'm back with another Halloween card and video! A couple of days ago I did a Release & Review on Honey Bee Stamp's Spooktacular release:

I stamped the Beautiful Lily image onto Strathmore Watercolor paper with Nocturne ink, clear heat embossed it and then watercolored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro's and added sparkle with Tonic's Aqua Shimmer Pen.
I created the background with Simon's Boho Circle Stencil and a combo of Salvaged Patina Oxide Ink and Oxide Spray. I added a die cut sentiment from the new Handwritten Hello wafer die and of course added a BUNCH of gold splatter lol!

OK on to the cards. These are part of my 2022 Halloween series. If you've missed any of those posts so far you can find them all at the links below:
The card on the left is A2 size and the card on the right is a 3.25 x 6.25" Mini Slimline Card.
Like I said at the beginning of this post - I LOOOVVEEE the new CZ Design Witch, Please set. It's just so perfect. I made a flat shaker card using this set and technique yesterday HERE. I couldn't resist doing it again tho. This spooky moon technique I learned from Stacy Hutchison HERE is one of my all time favorite ways to play with sprays.
For these backgrounds I started with White Distress Heavystock, the Tim Holtz Moon Masks, and Black Soot, Salvaged Patina and Uncharted Mariner Distress Spray Stains. I also used Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Spray, and Iron Gate and Fortune Teller Mica Stains. All the specifics of what I used are also listed and linked at the bottom of this post!
On the insides of the cards I stamped the witches with Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink, added a sentiment from the Witch, Please set with Nocturne ink then stamped the companion sentiment with Seedless Preserves Oxide ink and that was it!

Hey friends!
OK first off about the email issue (which still isn't working - it's frustrating):
🚨FYI - For those that have signed up in the sidebar on the right here on my blog to receive e-mails whenever I post something new - SOMETHING isn't working. We're looking into it. I have no idea why it stopped working and hope to either get it fixed or figure out an alternative asap! That said I HIGHLY recommend y'all follow me on Instagram, and especially follow/join me on my Facebook page as I update those immediately every time I post something new (which is often!). And just like with everything (including my videos on YouTube) - the more you engage - commenting, liking, sharing etc - the more you'll see my content in your feeds. I am at the mercy of the algorithms and robot overlords with EVERYTHING to do with this job but I hope these tips help and I will continue to trouble shoot behind the scenes!🚨
OK on to the second since a lot of y'all have been asking (and it's literally ALMOST here!!!!):
YES I will be posting a TON of videos for STAMPtember®!!!
For those not familiar, STAMPtember® is our month-long celebration for all things stamping and crafting.
On September 1st there is the Simon Says Stamp branded product release. These products will be a part of Simon's regular product line and available in the SSS store beyond STAMPtember®. So there's no worries with the BIG (it's always a BIG one 😉😁) release on the 1st. They stock up plenty and will restock whatever sells out.
Throughout the month of September there will be MANY collab releases. These are stamp sets (a lot of times with coordinating die sets) that are created by a bunch of amazing brands that SSS sells in their store. THESE collab sets are limited edition and will not be restocked so you’ll have to act fast if you see something you love. There is no set schedule as it is all a surprise. Simon did announce that the first collab set will go live September 3rd (so I'm not giving anything away 😉). All the collaboration sets (with the one exception being the Tim Holtz collab) go live at midnight EST on the nights they're to be released. Not every night is a collab set night, some nights will be something else (they release several limited edition kits for STAMPtember each year!), the 14th is always the SSS monthly kit release, and who knows what else Simon will have up their sleeve.
Specifically about the Tim Holtz collab: That will be announced separately and you all will be given some notice ahead of time because last year it sold out incredibly fast (as in sold out in 7 hours - it was nuts). More was ordered this year to hopefully prevent that from happening - again that was already announced on the SSS page so I'm not giving away any secrets!
It's all fun, TONS and TONS of inspiration (I'm one of many designers who will be posting a bunch of videos throughout the month) and freebies and who knows what all will happen.
It's a ton of fun and like I said above - make sure to follow me on my Facebook page especially as I generally post each new collab set there with a link as soon as it's available so no one has to go hunting for it!
OK back to the post - if you've missed any of my previous Halloween posts so far you can find them all at the links below:
So I went in the complete opposite direction from the pastel-themed Halloween cards I've been making recently - this time a little more spooky/scary/ghoulish:
I started off with Simon's Chunky Sweater Stencil and I applied crackle paste over it that I'd mixed with different colors of Distress Paint (and if you look closely you still might see the outline of my phone......I share that oops in the video 🤷🏻♀️😖🤪).
On the card base and on the card stock I die cut with the Giant Hugs Card Wrap wafer dies I blended several colors of Distress Inks (all the specific colors I used are listed and linked in the supplies at the end of this post!). I added a bunch of splatter with a mixture of Candied Apple and Ground Espresso Distress Paint.
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.

Hey friends! So I wanted to use the new Halloween Distress Mica Stains but not as a spray - this time I decided to watercolor with them. If you missed my previous posts using them as sprays you can find those here:

Hey friends! So I was planning on doing this technique at least once this season and after watching some of Tim Holtz latest live video earlier I HAD to get inky and create. But first:
🚨FYI - I am aware of the e-mail issue. For those that have signed up in the sidebar on the right here on my blog to receive e-mails whenever I post something new - SOMETHING isn't working. We're looking into it. I have no idea why it stopped working and hope to either get it fixed or figure out an alternative asap! OK back to the post - if you've missed any of my previous Halloween posts so far you can find them all at the links below:
So waaaayyyy back in 2019 Stacy Hutchison made some amazing Halloween cards with this fabulous spooky sky technique. You can check out her original post HERE <-------click! I was so inspired by it that I ended up doing a few videos over the last few years using it as it's so fun and turns out different every single time.
For this one I went more harvest/rusty/spooky with the colors and made these mini slimline Halloween cards:
I then mixed texture paste with Black Soot Distress Paint and applied it over one of Simon's Layered Bats Stencils (one of my fave Halloween stencil sets), and while the paste was still wet I poured Nightfall Distress Glitter over them.
The fright night sentiment is from my oldie-but-goodie favorite Handlettered Halloween stamp set. I heat embossed it with some copper embossing powder on black card stock and used the coordinating wafer die to cut it out.
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.

Hey friends! I created another couple Halloween cards using an embossing folder, some of the NEW Halloween Mica Stains and some Foundry Wax. I am just loving experimenting with sprays and mica sprays and Foundry Wax and whatnot. I did a previous post and video HERE using them if you missed it.
Also if you've missed any of my other Halloween posts so far you can find them all at the links below:
After trimming down the backgrounds I added Black Soot Distress ink around the edges of each panel. I then used Sterling Foundry Wax and applied it over the raised images with my finger and set with a heat tool.

I stamped the thank you sentiment from the All About You stamp set with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink and heat embossed it with Prize Ribbon Distress Glaze before die cutting it with the coordinating wafer die. The Sunshine card stock was stencilled with the Diagonal Stripe stencil and a bit of Mustard Seed Oxide Ink.
