Quick Tip - Creating Stickers out of Die Cuts

Hey everyone! I am still having a rather rough time recovering from the root canal I got earlier in the week (I'm not surprised. I've had a root canal done before and it was not a fun process for me during recovery - so this was expected). I'm so far behind with work and deadlines and giveaways too (the giveaways will be coming soon - I have some BIG ones still to do!) and it's just been rough!

That said - I was cleaning out files on my computer and came across videos I hadn't uploaded to my channel (again not surprised LOL. I was posting SO much in the fall and for my Christmas Card series that these ones got buried under everything else) - so I'll be doing that today! 

First up is this Quick Tip video. I haven't done videos like this in a long time - it's on my list to start doing them more regularly again.

Quick Tip | Lining Up MFT Stamps & Die namics with the MISTI

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm spending the day with my munchkins (bestest Valentine's ever in my not-so-humble opinion), and at the moment they're all watching a movie. So in this (brief) peace and quiet I'm getting this post up and will get the voiceover done for the card that accompanies this video so look for that later!

Heat Embossed Snowflakes - Video

Hey hey everyone! I've got a crafty video to share! I FINALLY had a little bit of time to get creative - and remembered to film - so here's the process.

I'm hoping I'll have at least one more video to share showing the card(s!) that I've made using these snowflakes posted within the next day or two. I decided to split up the process because this video was starting to get long and I made a LOT of snowflakes - so I can just refer back to this video with the future posts! :) :) :)

I am in LOVE with MFT's new Snowflake Flurry and Snowflake Flurry Die-namics. When I'd posted cards using it for the October countdown I had a lot of questions about embossing on vellum. So I decided to show that in this video, plus emboss them on some foil card stock and regular card stock as well. Aren't they gorgeous?

Quick Tip Video: "Shimming" Your ATG

I'm back with another video! If you've been watching my videos for a while you'll know that I use my ATG for almost all of my adhesive needs. I LOVE my ATG. Lately though it's been driving me batty with the tape sliding to the edge and off the edge of the roller (not completely off of it but wonky enough to be annoying and not work perfectly).

I never used to have this problem and I've been using my ATG for years and YEARS - so I figured out the probable cause as well as a solution - and since it's easier to explain via video here it is:

I've previously purchased my rolls by the case from the NHS Media store - honestly I think the last time I bought them they were a fair bit cheaper than they are now (it's been at least 2 years since I've ordered from there) - so I don't know if I'll order there again or not. I always get people recommending US sites to order from - but I have yet to find one that doesn't charge an insane amount for shipping (making it totally worthless to order from for me) or uses UPS to ship (which for Canadians is a no-go b/c the brokerage fees when the package arrives are astronomical).

So I've just been ordering the little 2 packs from CCDesigns and SimonSaysStamp when I place orders - so much easier to just toss a pack or two into my virtual cart when I'm placing an order :).

This one's just a super-simple tip (one that y'all prolly already know - but I thought I'd post it anyway) on how I get my Stickles glitter glue and pigment inks dry SUPER-fast b/c I NEVER leave anything to sit around for hours (or all night) to dry - I don't have time for that.
