Hey friends! While I still want to create Halloween (not sure if I'll be squeezing in any more for this year but I may still) and fall projects - Christmas and Holiday products are coming out (and I've already started my Holiday 2022 series and there will be a lot more coming soon). Specifically - Honey Bee Stamps Make It Merry release is now available and it's ALLLLLLL holiday.
Since this release arrived on time (sometimes it takes longer for me to receive new products/releases/orders etc in Canada) I wanted to get this filmed and posted ASAP as I feel this will be a popular release!
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.
Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!

Hey friends! I'm back with another Halloween card and video! A couple of days ago I did a Release & Review on Honey Bee Stamp's Spooktacular release:
LOVE. SO many good things. I couldn't wait to start creating with it. Before I get to the card and video if you've missed any of my Halloween posts so far you can find them all at the links below:

With all the collab sets released this month they are one and done. Meaning when they sell out they are not restocked and are gone for good. There will be PLENTY of amazing sets released this month and I hope to have video inspiration for all of them so stay tuned.
I white heat embossed the snow from the Warm Wishes set onto the back panel then ink blended Distress Oxide inks over it to create my sky. Once I assembled all the panels I adhered my images from the Warm Wishes set, and added a white heat embossed sentiment from the same set and that was it!

Hello friends!
OK the other day I posted a Release & Review video for Honey Bee Stamps most recent release - it's here if you missed it:

Hey friends!
I haven't done a Release & Review in a long time. I missed a few releases and once that happens it is difficult to jump back into them. Add to that the supply chain and shipping issues with delays etc etc and it's just been difficult for a good long while now.
That said I DO have a Release & Review to share with y'all. I don't have links to everything sadly (again supply issues) but I will update the links once everything becomes available! Honey Bee Stamps had a great release with baby-themed, wedding-themed, sea/ocean-themed and some fab plant and floral items and I wanted to share it all with you guys.

Hey friends!
So after I made my previous card (which you can check out HERE if you missed it) I just HAD to make another floral using another fabulous color combo inspired by the osteospermums aka African Daisies I have planted this year. They're SO pretty in real life and man the color combos! LOVE.

Hey friends! I'm still on my "rainbow using only 3 colors" obsession lol! AND I wanted to quickly mention a sale going on right now:
Shop all things Ranger at Simon Says Stamp <-------click! (the only exception is the pre-order of the NEW Distress color that will come out on the 18th!! I can't wait to see what it is!) and save 20% with the code RANGER
On the inside of the card I stamped the rainbow arch (I just LOVE this stamp in the set) from the Rainbow Dreams stamp set with multiple colors. I added sentiments from the Look For The Rainbow set that were die cut with the coordinating dies, adhered into place and that was it!

Hey friends! I have another couple of cards to share with y'all using the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Peony wafer die set. I am OBSESSED with this set. I love all the Lovely Layers sets so far (and have a video playlist of all the ones I've done videos on HERE on my YouTube channel) and this one is FABULOUS. Here's a couple of previous posts I did using them:
For these cards I used several different Distress Spray Stains and combined them with several of the Ranger Dylusions Shimmer Sprays. Y'all remember the Halloween and Christmas Mica Spray Stains Tim Holtz released last year that were AMAZING? And they were limited edition and sold out everywhere and now we're all sad (well I bought them all and have them on display lol so I'm not that sad) b/c you can't get them? Try the Shimmer Sprays. They look and work just the same (and both made by Ranger) they just won't be the specific colors Tim did with his Distress line. But there are a lot of colors to choose from and you can check them all out HERE <-------click!
On the insides of the cards I used sentiments from the Squeeze the Day stamp set and die cut them with the coordinating wafer dies before adhering them to the insides of the cards and that was it!

Hello hello friends! I pulled out a bunch of my Nuvo Shimmer Powders to create some cards and decided to add in some Distress Spray Stains when making the backgrounds. If you've missed some of my previous videos that I've done (nearly 2 dozen over the last few years) using Nuvo Shimmer Powders you can find that playlist here:
I created several panels using Canson XL watercolor paper and a variety of Nuvo Shimmer Powders and Distress Spray Stains. I have all the supplies that I used linked below as always and I "grouped" the powders and spray stains together in the order that I used them just in case anyone was wondering what colors/combos were used. I'll also list them with the closeup of each cards (as I type stream of conscious thoughts while typing this post LOL).

Hey friends! Honey Bee Stamps had a FABULOUS release recently (I haven't had a chance to film any Release & Review videos lately as there's been a TON of construction noise and chaos around here. BUT if y'all still want me to film and share them let me know in the comments!) and I was allllll over the new Lovely Layers: Peony wafer die set:
It looks a little overwhelming and blah when looking at JUST the die set eh? But HB has this awesome layering graphic:
You can right click on this and print it out or save it as a reference if needed - I of course show in the video how to layer all the pieces and trust me it comes together SO easily! Like all the previous Lovely Layers wafer die sets it's pretty much largest to smallest and then you're done.
Just like all the other Lovely Layers sets the sky is the limit when deciding how you want to "color" them. Solid color card stock, watercolor paper and watercolors, ink blending, sprays, etc etc. I've shown many different variations in previous posts which you can check out at the links below if you missed them:
I LOVE peonies - in real life and in paper version. I planted some peony bulbs a couple of years ago and got my first bloom last year and it was SO pretty:
How can one NOT love peonies eh? I so hope I get a bunch more blooms this year!
OK back to the card info:
I used Memory Box's Vibrant Violet and Lush Green paper packs for the Lovely Layers: Peony blooms and leaves. The MB cardcardstock packs are heavyweight but FYI the color is PRINTED onto the paper so they do have a white core. Which I am fine with but I wanted to point that out as printed paper behaves differently than solid core when it comes to inking, stamping, etc (which usually isn't a big deal most of the time but if you notice a difference that will most likely be why). I like having all the variety of colors (there's several different packs - you can find them all here).

Hey friends! I'm back with another card and video! This was supposed to go up last week for the Color Throwdown Challenge but we're in the middle of reno's and chaos and all the things lol. So it's here now:
The background was ink blended with Simon's Soft Navy ink, then I used the Secret Garden A2 Coverplate to die cut some white card stock that I then adhered to the card front. And then added splatter as is tradition ;).
