MEGA Haul + a Giveaway!!

Happy weekend everyone!! I've been feeling rather overwhelmed lately with life on all fronts - but one thing that REALLY helps a ton is getting things cleaned up and organized. Whether it's in my little office (which is what today's video helped accomplish) or in the rest of my house - ESPECIALLY since we'd moved less than 2 months ago. Tim Holtz Halloween 2018 Haul + Christmas + Giveaway!

Ahhhhhh it FINALLY showed up!! I mentioned many many MANY times that I've been waiting for a huge Tim Holtz Halloween order that I'd placed (and had shipped out) almost 2 months ago!! I don't know what was going on with the USPS but this package circled Chicago for WEEKS before they just decided to send it back to SSS (even tho my address was right below and larger than SSS's address.....🤷🏻‍♀️🤪🤦🏻‍♀️🤬). Anywho - SSS shipped it back out to me the same day (I e-mailed their customer service explaining what the tracking was saying so they kept an eye out and re-sent it out the second it showed up - their customer service team is one of the best IMO!).

I wasn't joking when I said I'd be working like crazy this month! These are just from the last week!! More to come - lots of amazing STAMPtember® exclusives plus my Halloween series and whatever else I can make and film videos for y'all with! And yes we're moving in the midst of all this (the timing is the worst but that's how everything fell together so I'm just going with it - it's complete and total insanity but I'm powering through it!!) - I'll have a smaller-but-dedicated space for my studio and will actually be able to put up shelves and things on the walls! After the last couple of years of renting and not being able to put up anything on the walls I am SO looking forward to being able to install a shelf wherever it's needed (little things like that make me giddy).

SSS Beautiful Day Take 2 | PinkFresh Liquid Watercolor

Before we get to the card portion of this post - new kit info and SALE info!

This week's Color Throwdown Challenge is another good one:

Here's what I created with these colors:

I used Simon's Beautiful Day stamp set and white heat embossed the leaves and butterflies onto Distress Watercolor paper before colouring them in with PinkFresh Liquid Watercolors.

It was hard to get a good pic showing the background - I white heat embossed Simon's Flower Explosion background onto more Distress watercolor cardstock. I then splattered on the remaining liquid watercolors and once dry I ran it through my die cut machine with the largest of the Wonky Rectangles wafer dies.

The large U was die cut and stacked 3 times, then I white heat embossed the sentiments onto Royal Purple cardstock. 

To finish off the inside of the card I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Day stamp set with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. I then stamped the small leaf cluster with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink then added one of the heat embossed and watercolored butterflies and that was it!
