Hello everyone!
Today's the day! Tonight at 10pm EST all the goodies we've been teasing y'all with will be available in the MFT store!
Make sure to check out MFT's blog post today to see what all is being shown plus all the links to the other DT members blogs and their creations.
For today's card I used the new Go Overboard stamp set and the Blueprints 12 Die-namics. I think this could be perfect for a Father's Day card, or a masculine Thank You card - what do you guys think?
I embossed the compass image with silver embossing powder and die cut it with one of my Circle STAX Die-namics dies. It's hard to tell but I mounted it on dimensionals and the red card stock is popped up with dimensionals too.
I stamped the rope image from the set with silver ink - LOL I came across my old silver Encore ink pad in the back of a drawer the other day. I haven't used it in YEARS (like 5 or more?) and it hasn't dried out - but it still smells like it did when I first got it. Blech. I hate the smell of those Encore ink pads - that's prolly why I stopped using them. I will say that new Delicata gold one I got doesn't smell like that at all (in fact it has no smell as far as I can tell).
Anywho - I used the stitched circle die that comes in the Blueprints 12 Die-namics set to cut the window in the red card stock. That one die is SO cool - it cuts the stitches on the inside of the circle AND around the outside if you want to cut a window - how smart is that?
On the inside of the card I added a strip of the Red Hot card stock that I stamped with the rope image and silver ink and that was it!
Make sure you come back tonight to see my New Product Launch post with all the cards I made for that! :)
