That's right friends! TWO different Limited Edition sets are here for STAMPTEMBER! So I have two cards and TWO videos to share with y'all in this post! Woot woot!
I white heat embossed the large wreath from the 'Tis the Season set onto Distress watercolor paper and did some messy watercoloring with Distress Oxide inks (specific colors listed in the supplies below). I stamped the wood boards of the image onto a second piece with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and gold heat embossed one of the sentiments from the set onto it.
I stamped the wreath on the inside of the card and onto the Schoolhouse Red envelope. I added another sentiment to the inside of the card from the 'Tis the Season set and that was it!

Happy Friday!! I've been scrambling all week trying to make something for this week's Color Throwdown challenge - this was one of "those" times where things just weren't working out. However I left it (more than once) and came back to it and ended up making a card I was happy with!
I pulled out Concord & 9th's Monster Love stamp set and coordinating dies to make my card. I've been wanting to use these for a while now and thought they'd be fun for a Valentine-themed card!
I stamped the images onto gray card stock with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and coloured them in with color pencils (I used Polychromos but really any color pencil brand will work) before die cutting and assembling.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the smaller monster and the "waving" arms with Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink and the sentiment with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I finished it off with another sentiment from the Monster Love set and that was it!

Hello everyone! I hope y'all had a great weekend! I moved over the weekend and have a ton on my plate (actually living and working between 2 places right now and it's right chaos LOL!), but still getting videos filmed and work done! Anywho I'll update more on that later once I'm settled in and things aren't so crazy.
The next STAMPtember® set has been revealed! This one with Concord & 9th!
Also there's a category on Simon Says Stamp for ALL the STAMPtember® exclusives HERE <-----click! Like previous STAMPtember® collaboration sets - these are exclusive to Simon Says Stamp and while supplies last. Once they're sold out and/or STAMPtember® is over they're gone!
Here's what I created with the new set:
Of course as soon as I realized there was a Happy Halloween sentiment in this set I HAD to use it. I was originally going to make a birthday card (tho if someone's birthday falls on or near Halloween this card would be PERFECT IMO) but then saw the sentiment and decided to make this Halloween-themed.
I stamped the images in the set with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed them (I LOVE that this set gives you options for his hand and gaps on the string and sign handle to fit perfectly around his hand - no masking or fiddling required!). I then used the new AlteNew watercolors to paint the image (initial impression of the watercolors is I like them! This was literally the first time I've used them tho - I need to play with them more!), and Black Soot Distress paint for all the splatter.
I die cut a piece of white card stock with the largest Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangles wafer die that I used on the front of the card, and stamped the monster and the "waving" hand this time with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink. I then stamped another couple sentiments from the Monster Hugs set and that was it!

Now for the giveaway info!
Last year I started giving away and mailing out the Halloween cards I made for my series. A lot of you really enjoyed that so I decided to continue it this year! If you're interested in winning this card just follow the steps in the RaffleCopter widget below (make sure you're using a current e-mail address that you check frequently (I don't keep/see any personal info other than the winner's e-mail address) as that's what I use to contact the winner!).
Hello everyone! Today's post has a slightly different twist on it today. I have a couple of fun masculine-themed Valentine's Day cards and video, AND I'm collaborating with JORD watches for this post. JORD reached out to me some time ago, and normally I turn down all offers not strictly related to card making (collaboration/payment/products - I get a lot of random and sometimes downright weird offers sometimes) but this intrigued me. They make watches from wood and they have some rather unique designs and the quality and coolness of them made me want to share them with y'all!
For those that follow my other social media channels (specifically my Facebook page and Instagram page) y'all know I've been dating Chris for some time now ;). I was wondering what on earth to get him for Valentine's Day, then this opportunity with JORD came up and problem solved LOL!
They have a men's collection and a women's collection on their website. After this one arrived I almost wished I'd got one of the women's watches for myself instead LOL! This one is amazing though and will make such a great gift (like I mention in the video I tend to go more low-key for Valentine's Day and something like this I'd go for anniversary or Christmas. Regardless of when though I think these make for a wonderful gift). Now my only problem is having to hold on to it until Valentine's Day (and yes he knows about it as I measured him before getting the watch - but we agreed to keep it a "surprise" till the day of). I'm the WORST when it comes to keeping secrets when it comes to gift giving. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
GIVEAWAY
Before I get to the cards and video - JORD is giving away a $100 gift code to their store!
You get a 10% off code once you've submitted your entry as well!
This giveaway will close at 03/04/2018 at 11:59pm and the code will expire 03/18/2018.
OK now on to the cards I've already shown y'all sneak peeks of above:
I have had a LOT of requests to show more of Concord & 9th's Turnabout stamps in more videos, so for today's card I used their Polka Dot Turnabout stamp to stamp both of these cards. I used Neenah Desert Storm 100lb card stock as my card bases, and stamped the Polka Dot Turnabout with various Distress Oxide inks and some Delicata Golden Glitz ink.
My focal points were created with the Concord & 9th Stuck on You stamp set - I stamped the images onto Canson XL watercolor card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and watercolored them in with the Distress Oxide inks.
I finished off the insides of the card by stamping the images with the Oxide inks, and like I mention in the video I really think that these would have been great as cards on their own. I just have a thing for how the Oxides look on the Desert Storm card stock and these images stand so well on their own!

Hello everyone! As of typing this it's super early Friday morning so YAY Happy Friday!
I had sooooo many requests to do videos showing how to use Concord & 9th's Turnabout stamp sets. This will just be the first one, I own a couple others and have ordered their newest one - plan to see many videos in the future!
These stamps are REALLY cool. And once you use them once they're actually quite easy to use! After I went through the steps of making my "jig" and marking the centre on the back of the stamp it all went smooth as butter after that (totally random - I've been seeing a lot of mashed potato recipe videos on Facebook today. With Christmas literally right around the corner it's not surprising. I REALLY want mashed potatoes like right now - smothered in butter...... OK back to the post at hand).
I stamped the backgrounds with Versafine Onyx black ink, then used the little solid images in the set and stamped those with various MFT dye inks. I am honestly just wow'd at how clever this all was - and it was REALLY easy to line up the solid images (I missed a few times here and there b/c I was stamping fairy quickly but that didn't bother me at all with the finished backgrounds).
I used the same inks and stamped backgrounds on Neenah Desert Storm card stock too - I gotta say I REALLY like how the colors look on this card stock! I need to do more solid stamping on it - I have some ideas brewing... (and I just noticed that I missed adding the white gel pen to one of the sets of candy canes - too late for these pics but again - I'm not too concerned about it LOL).
I used sentiments from Concord & 9th's Joyful Noel set on the inside of the cards, and stamped the little snowflakes from the Christmas Cheer turnabout set - only inking them up once then stamping them 3 times - getting 3 shades out of one ink.
To see how these cards came together check out my video below:
Random (not-so-random if you actually read the post) question - do you "dress up" your mashed potatoes? I always keep mine simple - mashed so they're creamy and no lumps and I add lots of butter and milk, salt and pepper and that's it. I don't like adding anything else to it because I feel just properly done mashed potatoes are HEAVEN...... I can't wait to make Christmas dinner now ;).

This month's United We Flourish collab (you can check out all the previous ones here on my Sales & Coupons page!) is with Concord & 9th and it's such a fun set! The set is called Sweet Sprinkles and it's a combo stamp set with the coordinating dies.
Here's the card I created with the new set:
I pulled out my Distress Oxide inks and went on a rainbow theme with this card. The sprinkles stamp in this set made for a quick and easy background. I staggered the image and stamped it with different colors of Distress Oxides - SO fun.
I decided to use the ice cream cone for this card and for both the cones and the "ice cream" I inked up the images with one color of Distress Oxide ink then before stamping I rocked the stamp onto another color of Distress Oxide ink. That way I got the 2 toned images for all the pieces with one stamp impression.
I finished off the inside of the card with a stamped sentiment from the set, and stamped the little sprinkles image "on top" of it with the same rainbow of Distress Oxide inks and that was it!

Hello everyone! I've had SO many of you asking me to create with The Greeting Farm's Secret Santa set - so I inked up all the images from the set and ended up making 8 cards:
I stamped the images from the set onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then coloured them in with color pencils. I used my Polychromos (FYI as of posting this the 120 set is 50% off on Amazon right now - link is in the supplies below), but any color pencil will work.
I used my Uniball Signo White gel pen to add highlights to all the images, and with this little character on the right I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze on his glasses to give them some gloss.
I used Concord & 9th's Plaid Background Stamp Set to create all the card fronts - this was my first time using it and I am in LOOOOVVVEEE with this stamp!! It was so easy to create the plaid backgrounds with it!
I decided to do 2 card fronts each in 4 different colors - it made the process move a little faster.
I decided not to add any sentiments to the card fronts or insides. It makes some of the cards easy to use for other occasions than Christmas or Holiday cards. Some of these can be just because or birthday etc.
I finished off the inside of the cards with the same images that I stamped off once before stamping on the inside of the card and that was it!

Hello everyone! I have a card AND a giveaway to share with y'all - first the card:
I pulled out the Concord & 9th Layers of Love dies and their Best Banners stamp set and ended up creating a wedding (or could be anniversary too) themed card.
I used my new Daniel Smith watercolours to create the rainbow background (and I mention in the video that this was my second attempt. I should have saved the first to share with y'all b/c it was pretty bad LOL) then popped the white card stock over it with foam tape.
This card could TOTALLY be made into a shaker card - I went back and forth with myself debating whether or not to make it that. In the end I decided to keep it simple - if I'd had the time I'd have made 2 cards - one like this and one a shaker.
I finished the inside of the card with more sentiments from the Best Banners set and some die cut flowers from the Layers of Love dies and that was it!

Hey everyone! I've been feeling pretty run down this past weekend, and got a cold to top it off, hence me not posting videos the last few days. I wasn't feeling overly creative (or overly anything - just taking care of the kids was enough lol) but I wanted to get back into it so yesterday I pulled out my Mission Gold watercolours and the Concord & 9th Hello Lovely set.
My original intention was just to play around with watercolour and make a fun card and quick video and that would get me back to creating and posting regularly again. LOL - 2 cards and what is now a 20 minute video and a full day of editing and uploading here we are!
While I was stamping and embossing this large floral image (one of my favourites) from the Hello Lovely set I wondered what it would look like to do one with white embossing powder and one with black embossing powder. So that's what I did.
I really like how the watercolour pops with the white heat embossed image.
But then I really like how the detail of the stamp pops with the black heat embossed image LOL!
I paired the images with a die cut You and sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp You Matter stamp set and You wafer die, and die cut the watercolour panels with MFT's Wonky Stitched Rectangles Die-namics - LOVE.
I stamped the floral image onto the insides of the cards with yellow ink, then heat embossed the large You from the You Matter set using white embossing powder and stamping the rest of the sentiments with black ink and that was it!

Ahhhh happy Monday? I swear today was a MONDAY Monday - however I will still chalk it up as a win since I got a card and video done LOL!
I needed to make a birthday card and remembered I had bought this awesome Party Wishes stamp set and the Party Pop-Up Dies from Concord & 9th way back in January (or February - I can't even remember now).
I even pulled out some patterned paper from my stash (I know some of y'all's jaws are on the floor LOL) to dress up the card front!
It was really hard to capture the shimmer on the word wish and on the candles - I used my Sakura Stardust pen to add some fun shimmer and when it catches the light its REALLY pretty.
Now for the fun part:
I used C9's Party Pop-Up Dies to create the inside of the card - SO fun and actually quite easy once you actually use it. I generally avoid doing interactive cards as I don't have the time to fiddle and figure things out. I bought this die and then put off using it - now I wish I'd pulled it out sooner LOL.
SO much fun, and the card still folds flat so it's easy to mail - LOVE that!
I used the All Year Long stamp set to add the sentiments to the inside of the card and that was it!

Hey everyone! I have a little bit of time while my littles are napping to get this post up - the video took some time to film and alllllll the links took forever LOL! I have had some orders from weeks ago sitting here along with a couple of BIG orders showing up at the same time - SO because of overwhelming request I combined it ALL into one big video:
I've linked to multiple sources for a lot of the items I showed, as well as tried to remember links to items I mentioned in the video that I already have. If I forgot anything just let me know ;).
