Happy Saturday everyone! I got some time to create with the latest SSS Card Kit and here's the first card I made with it:
I stamped the large floral image from the Floral Bliss stamp set onto the smooth side of the Ranger watercolour paper with the SSS Barely Beige ink.
I then used my water brush and watercolored in the flowers with the little Daniel Smith "dots" that are included in the kit.
I used the Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink and pressed that onto my plastic palette and flicked my water brush off it to create the pink splatter on the watercolour image.
I couldn't resist using the black and white stripe paper from the kit - I really did try to pick something else but c'mon - it's black and white stripe. It just works with everything LOL!
I finished off the inside of the card by heat embossing the sentiment with SSS Ultra Fine Gold embossing powder and stamping the floral image again with the Barely Beige ink and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, MFT = My Favourite Things, SnS = Scrap N Stamp (Canada) etc. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
Items marked with an asterisk (*) have been sent by a store/manufacturer (with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love). Everything else I purchase myself!
