Hey friends! So I wanted to use the new Halloween Distress Mica Stains but not as a spray - this time I decided to watercolor with them. If you missed my previous posts using them as sprays you can find those here:

This is a Mini Slimline 3.25 x 6.25" Card
I couldn't resist pulling out my oldie-but-goodie-all-time-favorite Beautiful flowers stamp set for this one. I mean - it's just perfect.
I stamped the Beautiful Flowers image onto Canson XL watercolor paper with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves ink and clear heat embossed it. I then used a paint brush and Burning Ember, Fortune Teller, Decayed and Wicked Elixir Mica Stains to color it in.
All the gold around the edges and the subtle splatter is Gilded Foundry Wax. I then die cut some Matte Gold card stock and scraps with the Bold Thanks wafer die and stacked them before adhering it to the card.
I kept the inside of the card simple and just stamped the Beautiful Flowers with Simon's Fawn Pawsitively Saturated Ink and that was it!
