Hello friends! Are any of you surprised that I have another rainbow-colour card to share with y'all? I have really been enjoying creating with just 3 colors (regardless of product - I've used Shimmer Powders, Spray Stains, Oxide Sprays, Ink Pads....one commenter mentioned using paints as they didn't have the products I use and I hope they did. I bet it turned out awesome (and now I'm thinking about pulling out my Distress Paints and seeing what would happen...)).
ANYWHO - I've been enjoying the creating amidst the random chaos that goes on (hence my lack of videos for a while and then I post daily and multiple times a day - it literally just depends on the chaos lol).
I could have sworn Bibi Cameron posted something on her Instagram recently using shimmer powders with blending brushes over a stencil. For the life of me I can't find it (tho it's probably obvious and I'm missing what's right under my nose) - but if you don't already follow her on her Instagram HERE or her blog HERE I highly recommend you do. She's MASSIVELY talented and her cards and projects are gorgeous. I am always wow'd by some of the out-of-the-box ways she comes up with for using products (which is why I'm thinking it had to be her that did this technique that stuck in my head).
I used Cherry Bomb, Solar Flare and Blue Blitz Nuvo Shimmer Powders mixed with water and applied them with blending brushes over Simon Says Stamp's Tin Tile Stencil. It was a fun thing to try and stay tuned because I think I'll have to do this again but with other colors of the Shimmer Powders...
I added gold splatter with my Starry Nights palette (of course) and for the sentiments I used Simon's Bold Thanks wafer die and a heat embossed sentiment from the Thankful Magnolia stamp set. I die cut some vellum using the Etched Laurel Leaves wafer die and adhered the sentiments over that.
On the inside of the card I ink blended 3 of Simon's Pawsitively Saturated Inks (Watermelon, Lemonade and Cadette) over the Tin Tile Stencil and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.
