Hey friends! So I had the hardest time deciding where to start when creating with Simon's Let's Chill release products (I got the products right before the release so I didn't have any runway to create ahead of time - it happens (and my life is generally nuts lol)). I am loving this release and have a ton of ideas. I already posted these cards and video for the release hop <------click! if you missed it.
This time I wanted to have a go at the new embossing folders with the coordinating dies. I have links to all the new ones below - for today I used the Sunflower Fields set:
I embossed the Sunflower Fields folder onto Simon's Smooth White Cardstock, and did the same thing with scraps that I die cut with the coordinating wafer die in the Sunflower Fields set.
I then used several of Simon's Pawsitively Saturated Inks and blending brushes to add color to the flowers.
I added splatter (of course) to the backgrounds and the individual flowers - which I popped up with Simon's Big Momma foam tape. For the sentiment I used the new CZ Design Hello Sunshine wafer die.
On the insides of the cards I stamped a sentiment from the CZ Design Spring In My Step stamp set and then added one of the die cut and embossed Sunflower Fields flowers and that was it!
