Hokay - today's post uses another one of my all-time favorite stamp sets: Simon Says Stamp's Wildflowers. If you weren't aware I've done MANY videos using this set - you can check out my playlist of all those videos HERE on my YouTube channel <------click!
After my last couple of recent posts doing my "faux watercolor" technique - those posts here:
Easy Faux Watercolor with Pawsitively Saturated Inks | Brushed Flowers Take 2
SSS May '22 Card Kit Unboxing + 2 Cards!
I wanted to try it out with the Wildflowers stamp set - and this was the end result:
I inked up the stamp from the Wildflowers stamp set with some of Simon's Pawsitively Saturated Inks and stamped it onto Canson XL watercolor paper. I then sprayed it with water to get it to wick out and create all that fabulous blending and texture and dried it with my heat tool.
I added splatter using Perfect Pearl Powder mixed with water and with Black Soot Distress Paint.
On the inside of the card I stamped the Wildflowers image with lighter shades of the Pawsitively Saturated Inks and then stamped a sentiment from the XL Greetings 3 stamp set and that was it!
