Hello friends! I'm continuing with my foray into playing with mixed media and have another card and video to share with y'all:
I stamped a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper with Simon Says Stamp's Thank You Text Background stamp using Fog ink. I then ink smooshed Simon's Celery, Lemonade and Seafoam inks to add color and texture. I added white gouache for splatter and once dry I applied crackle paste over the Geo Leaves stencil and then added MORE splatter using Zig's Silver Mica Liquid.
On a scrap of the watercolor paper I smooshed the Seafoam ink multiple times and once it was dry I die cut it with the Etched Butterfly wafer die. For the body of the butterfly I just painted over it with the Zig Silver Mica ink.
On the inside of the card I stamped the Thank You Text background stamp with Fog ink, then stamped a sentiment from the Friend Greetings stamp set with Seafoam ink. LOVE that sentiment ❤️.
