EASY Stencilled Hearts Cards | AmyR 2022 Valentine's Card Series #5
I've always been inspired by the cards Debby Hughes makes and so I sat down and just played with inks and heat embossing and texture paste and whatnot and these were the end result:
I clear heat embossed Simon's Handlettered Friends background stamp onto some Canson watercolor paper and then smooshed Salvaged Patina, Bundled Sage and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks over it. Once everything was dry I pulled out Simon's Tumbled Hearts Stencil and applied Crackle Paste over it.
I stacked die cut layers using Simon's Peony and Leaves wafer die, the top layer being die cut from White Glossy card stock so it has a bit of shine. I used a scrap of the watercolor paper and layered the Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink on it and once it was dry die cut it with the Miss You wafer die.
On the insides of the cards I stamped the Handlettered Friends background with Simon's Fog ink, then stamped a sentiment from the Friend Greetings set with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink and that was it!
