For today's card I thought I'd pull out one of my Nuvo Glacier Pastes as I haven't used them in a looooonnnggg time. They're up to 14 colors now and I JUST got the 2 newest ones in a recent order - so of course I had them on my mind.
Anywho - here's the card I made:
I started off by ink smooshing Simon's Royal, Taffy, and Ocean inks onto Canson XL watercolor paper, then ink blending some Black Soot Distress ink around the edges to darken everything. Once it was all dry I splattered the background with my Zig Silver Mica liquid.
To create the "faux foiled" effect I used Simon's Scattered Stars stencil with the Quicksilver Glacier paste. Pictures don't really do it justice but you can see the shine of the stars better in the video!
The sentiments (which inspired the card) are from Simon's Reverse And Back Again Sentiment Strip pack. I cut down the words I wanted from it and popped them onto the card front with foam tape.
The moon, clouds and tiny stars were die cut using Simon's Night Sky wafer die set.
On the inside of the card I used the Scattered Stars stencil again with the Royal, Taffy, and Ocean inks, then added another sentiment from the Reverse And Back Again Sentiment Strips. I adhered a couple more of the little stars I die cut from silver glitter paper and that was it!
