OK on to today's cards:

I used Simon Says Stamp's Joyous Christmas Hot Foil Plate with Spellbinders Teal Glimmer Hot Foil on the packaging. I also linked to the Joyous Christmas wafer die set for those that want to make something similar but don't have or don't want a hot foil system. You could die cut the words from metallic card stock and adhere them to the packaging - it won't look the same but it would still look pretty IMO!

On the white card stock panel I neat embossed Simon's Geometric Snowflakes Background stamp with Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder. After attaching the packaging to the front I filled it with a mix of Simon's Midnight Sparkle Sequins, some turquoise sequins from my stash and some Rock Candy Distress Glitter.

On the insides of the cards I stamped the Geometric Snowflakes Background using Wendy Vecchi Sky Blue ink. I heat embossed a sentiment from the XL Christmas Greetings set with the White Satin Pearl embossing powder on white card stock. I then ink blended WV Garden Patina ink over it and die cut it with the coordinating wafer die before adhering to the insides of the cards. I then finished them off by pairing them with Simon's White Metallic envelopes and that was it!

NOW on to my cards!

Not only are these flat shaker cards, but the "merry" sentiment is hot foiled ON the acetate (and it's not heat-resistant acetate either - it's just the recycled packaging I use for most of my flat shaker cards). GAME. CHANGER. I got a lovely e-mail not too long ago from Karen F and she shared that she'd foiled on the packaging and her fab flat shaker card showing how it worked for her. She informed me that she doesn't have a blog or YouTube or anything like that so she wanted to let me know so I could try it. I am giving her FULL credit for the idea b/c I never would have even thought of trying this. And it works SO well! THANK YOU Karen! ❤️❤️❤️

SO - I hot foiled the CZ Design Merry Hot Foil Plate onto the packaging with the Spellbinders Speckled Aura Glimmer Hot Foil. It worked perfectly.

Aren't these FUN??? And SO easy to make! I used the CZ Design Just Trees stencil on the card stock panel, then wrapped the panel with the "merry" hot foiled acetate. I filled it with sequins and chunky gold glitter and then adhered the white heat embossed sentiment from Simon's XL Christmas Greetings stamp set.

On the insides of the cards I used the Just Trees stencil again, and added another sentiment from the XL Christmas Greetings set and that was it!

OK here's my card!

I stamped the CZ Design Creepy Crawlers Background stamp onto Simon's Smooth White card stock with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then blended Distress Oxide Inks over it and splattered the background with Black Soot Distress Paint.

The CZ Design Ghouls and Tree wafer dies were the main focus of the card, and I added the CZ Spooky Sentiment and finished it off with some Reverse Spooky Salutations Sentiment Strips.

On the inside of the card I stamped some white card stock with the Creepy Crawlers Background and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink. I added one of the die cut ghouls, and more Spooky Salutations Sentiment Strips and that was it!

OK on to the cards:

I was really inspired by the Simon Says Stamp O Christmas Tree Background stamp - there is just something about the style of it that I LOVE. I decided to keep these cards more clean and simple as I didn't want to overwhelm the background too much (plus cards like this are an easy way to make multiples of if that's your thing!).

I white heat embossed the O Christmas Tree Background onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock and then added the Peace Love Hope Joy die cuts that I stacked 3 layers together to give dimension.

On the insides of the cards I stamped the O Christmas Tree Background using Simon's Fossil ink (that is a new fave of mine!!). I added sentiments from the Merriest Christmas Sentiments Strip pack and paired the cards with black envelopes and that was it!

Easy Ink Blended Die Cut Anemones | AmyR Christmas 2021 Series #1

(and I finally created a new set of graphics for this years series - I was WELL aware that the previous video had "2020" on it as it was last years set of graphics. Long story, but it's all fixed now!)

For these cards I was still in a purple mood - heck since Tim Holtz released the Villainous Potion Distress color I think I'm gonna be in a purple mood forever LOL!

Anywho - I heat embossed Honey Bee's Falling Snow Background onto Simon's Smooth White card stock using Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder. I then blended Distress Oxide inks over it to create a winter sky.

I die cut Honey Bee's Pine Trees from more Smooth White card stock and used Rustic Wilderness and Evergreen Bough Oxide inks to add color. 

The Peace die cut was stacked with white card stock and topped with Holographic card stock (SOOOOOO pretty in real life!), and then I stamped a sentiment from the coordinating Peace stamp set to complete the sentiment.

To finish off the insides of the cards I added one of the die cut Pine Trees, and then stamped sentiments from the Inside: Holiday Sentiments stamp set and that was it!

Easily Mass producible Cards | SSS Sunflower Garden Take 3

Hey friends! This week's Color Throwdown Challenge is up:

Here's what I made:

I decided to go as "clean and simple" as I possibly could (lol) - and used Simon's Sunflower Garden stamp set for it. I LOVE this massive sunflower stamp in the set. I stamped it with Acorn VersaFine Clair ink onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock bases.

I added splatter using Crackling Campfire Distress Paint. The sentiments are from the CZ Design Clean Line XL stamp set and I heat embossed them with Simon's Cream embossing powder. I used the coordinating wafer die to die cut the "hello" and die cut scraps to adhere together and build a little dimension for the sentiment.

On the insides of the cards I stamped the sunflower image with Simon's Cobblestone ink then added another sentiment from the Clean Line XL set. I paired the cards with Burnt Orange envelopes and that was it!

OK on to the card I made with the November 2021 Card Kit:

I used the Berries & Leaves Stencil on the Neenah Desert Storm card stock and blended Rustic Wilderness and Festive Berries Distress Oxide inks over it with blending brushes.

I stamped a couple of the images from the Cozy Wishes stamp set onto the Cream card stock and colored them in with Copic markers. I heat embossed the sentiments with Simon's Cream embossing powder. Once things were in place I added a bunch of splatter.

I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the post box image with Simon's Cobblestone ink and stamped another sentiment from the Cozy Wishes set and that was it!

OK here's the card:

I ink blended a background using Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin Distress inks, and then ran it through my die cut machine using the Cute Ghosts 3D Embossing Folder. I then added some splatter using Black Soot Distress Paint.

My main images are from the SSS Halloween Gnomies stamp set, and I stamped them onto Simon's Smooth White card stock and colored them in with Copic Markers. After I colored them I die cut them with the coordinating wafer dies and adhered them to my embossed background.

On the inside of the card I added a sentiment and more candy corn from the Halloween Gnomies set. I also ink blended my envelope with the same Distress inks to coordinate and that was it!

And my disclaimer as always (lol) - none of this is on any sort of schedule. While I would LOVE to have set posting days and times and all that jazz, it just doesn't work. So today's card is using some of the NEW Honey Bee Stamps Vintage Holiday release <------click! I will have a Release & Review coming for this release - hopefully this weekend.

Honey Bee released another Lovely Layers wafer die set - this is the Lovely Layers: Anemone wafer die set. Isn't it FABULOUS? I die cut all the pieces from Simon Says Stamp's smooth white card stock, then used Distress inks (including the NEW Villainous Potion color - ugh LOVE) to add color to all the pieces.

On the background I used the Fancy Flakes Coverplate wafer die with the Pierced Fancy Flakes Coverplate wafer die. And then added splatter of course.

For my sentiments I used the new Bitty Buzzwords: Holidays stamp set and the Bitty Buzzwords: Holidays wafer dies.

I made 4 cards using the Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Wreath stamp set. For the first 3 I did a more "clean and simple" look by just stamping and/or heat embossing the wreath image from the set onto various card stocks. 

I added splatter (of course lol) to all the panels, and used the Pretty Pink Posh Trick or Treat Script wafer die set. I stacked all those sentiment die cuts using white and Desert Storm card stocks and topped the one with Matte Gold card stock. 

I stamped the wreath from the Halloween Wreath set onto the inside of the cards (and put a white piece of card stock on the inside of the black card base) with Simon's Cobblestone ink.

For the fourth card I decided to amp it up a little bit and used the Halloween Wreath set along with the coordinating wafer die set. Using the coordinating die set you can easily build dimension and/or make fun shaker cards. I decided to take it a step further and make it into a shaker window:

Hello friends! It's been a couple weeks of craziness around here (literally one thing after another) hence the lack of consistent posts. I'm hoping to rectify that tho starting now!

OK on to today's card!

This is a 5x7" Card.

I was inspired by a recent card Nichol Spohr made HERE. I couldn't get the green zombie card she made out of my head so I created this one inspired by hers!

I used Picket Fence Studios' Triple Trouble stamp set and since this pumpkin image is BIG I decided to make a 5x7 card with it.

I also used the Tim Holtz Moon Mask stencil set, and Simon's Layered Bats Stencils. I stamped the pumpkins with Simon's Intense Black ink onto smooth white card stock, then stamped them onto masking paper, trimmed it out and masked off the top portion of the pumpkins.

I then applied one of the Moon masks, and ink blended Distress Oxide Inks over the background to create the eerie sky. The Moon mask was removed and the coordinating stencil was used with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink. I then used the Layered Bats Stencils over it with Black Soot Distress Ink.

I removed the mask and colored in the pumpkins with Copic markers. I made sure the panel was completely dry and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Triple Trouble set. Of course I added a TON of splatter to the panel as well lol!

On the inside of the card I stamped the pumpkins onto a panel of white card stock using Crackling Campfire, Carved Pumpkin and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide inks. I then stamped one of the sentiments from the Triple Trouble set and that was it!

OK on to my cards:

I created 2 cards using the new Pumpkins stencil and rather "non-traditional" colors. I was inspired by the new Autumn Sky Sequins pack so I pulled out several Distress Oxide Inks in colors that matched the sequins.

For one card I created a flat edge-to-edge shaker card using some saved packaging and filled it with the Autumn Sky Sequins.

The second card I kept more "simple" and just cut down the stencilled panel and matted it with white card stock.

On both cards I used the new Oh My Gourd wafer die that I topped with Simon's new Matte Gold Mirror card stock.

I used the Pumpkins Stencil on the inside of the card with the same Distress Oxide inks. The sentiments are from the Let the Gourd Times Roll stamp set, and I paired the cards with some of Simon's Mint envelopes and that was it!
