So the other day I posted a Release & Review video for Honey Bee's Autumn Splendor Release HERE <------click! well the stencils just arrived and I HAD to do something with the new Trick or Treat Stencil Set as it was fabulous:
These are 3.25 x 6.25" mini slimline cards.
I pulled out some Dina Wakely tags, some Distress Oxide Sprays and the new Halloween Mica Spray Stains and got to making some fun inky backgrounds. I did a post HERE showing this technique in a similar way - so I created a mask using some masking paper that I'd die cut with one of Honey Bee's new Sweet Stacks: Circles wafer dies.
I created black embossing paste using texture paste tinted with Black Soot Distress Paint. I also poured the new Halloween glitter over the stencilled tree for the spooky, sparkly look.
On the insides of the cards I stamped the Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun stamp with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink and then stencilled on the bats from the Trick or Treat Stencil and that was it!
