I'm still REALLY loving making flat shaker cards. They are so fun!! If you missed any of my previous posts making them you can find those here:

So after seeing all the star etc themed products in the Make Magic release I was immediately thinking of galaxy backgrounds. AND since Tim Holtz just released the new Prize Ribbon Distress ink color and how well that would go with the new Magical sequins pack it was all just meant to be IMO!
I created ink smooshed backgrounds using Distress inks and added a ton of splatter to them. I then stacked the new Shoot for the Stars wafer die cuts and topped them with holo card stock. I adhered them to the backgrounds and added sentiments from the new Reverse Magical Wishes Sentiment Strips pack. I die cut silver glitter paper with the Magic Stars wafer die and adhered those to the background as well.
I then used one of Tonic's A2 shaker pockets and placed it on top of everything (with my past flat shakers I adhered the die cuts and whatnot to the outside of the shaker - this time I wanted to put it all on the inside and see how that looked). I filled it with the new Magical Sequins mix as well as some Studio Katia Chunky Stars glitter.
On the insides of the cards I stamped sentiments and stars from the Magical to Me stamp set, and then added a few more of the silver die cut Magic Stars and that was it!
