Hey friends! I hope y'all had a good weekend! I really LOVED the summery, sunset sort of color combo I had on my previous post HERE - so I decided to play with those colors and make some fun backgrounds. I used several Distress Oxide sprays to make some fun inky backgrounds and then embossed a couple of them with the new Pinpoint Starlets 3D Embossing Folder from Simon Says Stamp (this folder comes in the August card kit which I showed in my unboxing in THIS POST, but is also available separately HERE):
These inky backgrounds with this embossing folder just make me happy. I used Simon's White pigment ink and a blending tool to lightly rub ink over all the raised areas and make the pattern stand out a bit more.
I am so loving this Pinpoint Starlets embossing folder - I just love the pattern and detail of it.
I used the CZ Design Wish I Could Hug You wafer die for my main sentiments and then pulled out the oldie-but-goodie Simple Sentiments 2 set for my companion sentiment.
On the insides of the cards I stamped a sentiment and hearts from the new All About You stamp set. I added some more splatter and then paired the cards with some Metallic Cotton Candy envelopes and that was it!
