Hello friends!! I've been editing up a STORM over the last several days - if you've missed any of my recent posts you can find them all by scrolling down!
I'm still on a Distress Reinker kick - it's been so much fun creating with them. For this card I stamped images from Simon Says Stamp's Look for the Rainbows stamp set onto Canson watercolor paper using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I heat embossed them with WOW's Clear Matt Dull embossing powder then watercolored them with Distress Reinkers mixed with Perfect Pearl Powder so they're all shimmery.
On the background I heat embossed the Open Grid Background stamp and then watercolored over it with more Distress Reinkers mixed with Perfect Pearl powder. The die cut hugs is from Simon's Small Script Trio wafer die set and I topped it with Holographic card stock.
On the inside of the card I inked up the images using Distress Oxide inks and sponge daubers. I had die cut some Flickering Butterflies from Lawn Fawn's Translucent vellum, and adhered some to the outside and inside of the card. I stamped a sentiment from the Look for the Rainbows set and paired the card with a Doll Pink envelope and that was it!
