Hey everyone! So the other day I posted my unboxing video and a couple of cards using the Simon Says Stamp May 2021 Card Kit (HERE <-----click! if you missed it). I LOVE the Dandelion Messages set that comes in the kit (and you can get it individually here) so I created a couple more cards with it:
These are 3.25 x 6.25" mini slimline cards.
I white heat embossed the cluster of dandelions image from the Dandelion Messages stamp set onto some Neenah Desert Storm card stock. I then blended on several Distress Oxide inks over it.
I added a bunch of splatter of course, and added die cut butterflies. I pulled out the Flickering Butterflies wafer die and die cut some Lawn Fawn Pearlescent Vellum with them - ahhhhhh they're so pretty and delicate. I've been hoarding that vellum for way too long now lol.
I die cut and stacked white card stock using the CZ Design Hugs wafer die.
On the insides of the cards I white heat embossed a sentiment from the XL Greetings 2 stamp set, and stamped the dandelion cluster with the Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink. I added the remaining die cut Flickering Butterflies to the insides as well.
On the white mini slimline envelopes I stamped the dandelion cluster with the Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink and that was it!
