Hello everyone!! I've been dealing with stress headaches for the last few days (fun times) and wasn't able to get videos up. However stay tuned as there will be a bunch coming from here on out!
So in my last video I created cards using heat embossed backgrounds and my Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Powders. I've done a bunch of videos using them over the last couple of years - you can check out my playlist of them on YouTube HERE <------click!
For today's cards I wanted to use this week's Color Throwdown challenge:

So here's what I made:
I heat embossed Simon Says Stamp's All Leaves Background onto watercolor paper - one background was white heat embossed and the other was gold (just because I was curious to see how they'd look in the end!).
On both cards I used Catherine Wheel, Solar Flare, Golden Sparkler and Falling Leaves Nuvo Shimmer Powders. AND I added some splatter with my Aspen Gold Mica Mist spray just to add some extra gold shimmer (you can see that better in the video).
I die cut some Dark Chocolate and Gold Satin Pearl card stocks using the Thankful For You wafer dies and popped those on to the cards with Big Momma Foam Tape.
On the insides of the cards I stamped the All Leaves Background using Simon's Khaki ink. For the sentiments I foiled some Reverse Gratitude Sentiment Strips using my Minc machine and some Autumn Deco Foils (LOVE how those turned out!) and that was it!
