Hooray!! Happy World Cardmaking Day!! Today's post is part of a celebration of WCMD with Simon Says Stamp! There are several designers from different countries of the globe all using the same stamp set and putting our own spin on it. You can check out the SSS WCMD blog post HERE <-----click! to see all the inspiration plus there's giveaway info in that post too!
Since we are all using the CZ Design Chunky Christmas stamp set for our cards today I thought why not start my 2020 Christmas Card Series!
In case you missed any of my previous Christmas Card Series I have links to all the playlists for them on YouTube:
So now let's get into my 2020 Christmas Card Series! As with everything I have no set schedule. PLUS I'm still going to be continuing with my 2020 Halloween series (I still have a lot planned for that one) among other posts! So no worries there.
Here's the cards I made for today:
I decided to make 2 cards using the Chunky Christmas stamp set - one more clean and simple and one more stepped up.
I gold heat embossed the words from the set, and with the JOY word I embossed them onto Ranger watercolor paper and coloured them in with Candied Apple Distress Ink and my Tonic Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen.
On both cards I used Simon's Basic Rectangles wafer dies and A2 Thin Frames wafer dies. On the stepped up card I used the Sketchy Lines Background stamp, the Leafy Christmas Tree wafer dies and the Mini Stars wafer dies.
I stamped the insides of both cards with the large MERRY word from the Chunky Christmas set and added a couple more heat embossed sentiments and that was it!

Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
