So here's today's card:
This is a 3.5 x 8.5" slimline card.
I JUST got Simon's Limited Edition Halloween kit - the kit sold out within the first day it was released (SO fast - like wow), so I'm not going to do an unboxing etc. If you were one of the lucky ones to snag one you're going to have a ton of fun with it!
Almost everything that was in the kit is available individually so I'll have links to the stamp set and stencil I used along with everything else in the supplies below! I LOVE this Happy Haunting stamp set - that bus!!!
I stamped the bus from the Happy Haunting set onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock using Simon's Intense Black ink and coloured it in with Copic Markers. I fussy cut the image and covered the edges with my Memento Tuxedo Black marker.
The card front was die cut with the largest of Simon's Slimline Marquee wafer dies, and then I blended on several distress inks. I created a mask with Simon's masking paper and then blended the inks over the masks. I was inspired by one of the patterned papers that came in the kit - from this LDRS Haunted Halloween paper pack. I used that inspiration for the colors of the bus and for the background as well.
I stencilled GinaK Glitz Glitter gel over the Random Dots and Stars stencil (just the star part) onto the background - and added some Neon Tangerine Crystals and Bat-tastic Sprinkles too lol.
On the inside of the card I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Happy Haunting stamp set with Tiger Lily embossing powder (which I used on the front as well). I added a bunch more images from the set, and paired the card with one of Simon's Orange Peel Slimline Envelopes and that was it!
