This week's Color Throwdown Challenge is a good one! You can check out what the rest of the team created with these colors HERE <------click! and play along too if you'd like!
Here's what I made:
This is a 3.5 x 8.5" slimline card.
I used my all-time favorite stamp set yet again - Simon's Beautiful Flowers. I just love it. I heat embossed the big floral stamp onto Arches Hot Press watercolor paper with Simon's Antique Gold embossing powder. I then watercolored it all in with Distress Oxide inks.
I used Simon's Sympathy Greetings Mix stamp set for the sentiments, heat embossing one onto Cream Off White card stock and adding another to the watercolor panel.
On the inside of the card and the envelope I stamped the same large floral from the Beautiful Flowers set using a couple of the same Distress Oxide inks I used to watercolor the card front. I added a couple more sentiments from the Sympathy Greetings Mix using the Oxide inks and that was it!
