Riley and Company True Friends | STAMPtember Exclusive Limited Edition

Hello friends! After a long day and tech problems (crashed my finicky laptop yet again - that's the 3rd or 4th time this month? 😬 Doing this many videos really puts a strain on it) I have a card and video using the latest STAMPtember collab! 

First off - if you missed it this is actually my second post and video today:

Easy Distress Oxide Ink Blending | SSS Laugh in Flowers

OK onto the collab:

Today's collab is with Riley and Company!

You can check out their Limited Edition True Friends stamp set HERE or the Limited Edition True Friends stamp set with coordinating wafer die HERE. As with all the limited edition collabs this is while supplies last and once they sell out they're gone! I also HIGHLY recommend checking out all their snarky sentiment stamps HERE - there are so many hilarious ones!

Here's what I made:

I stamped the characters from the True Friends set onto Simon's 120lb smooth white card stock with Intense Black ink and coloured them in with Copic makers. I then masked the images and blended on some Distress Speckled Egg ink with a blending brush.

I stamped the card base with the Wood Planks background using Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink. I also stamped the Surf Blue envelope with the characters from the True Friends set using Broken China Distress Oxide ink.

I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the characters with the same Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink and stamping another sentiment from the True Friends set with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and that was it!

Easy Distress Oxide Ink Blending | SSS Laugh in Flowers

Hey everyone!! I'm the host for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge:

I saw THIS CARD by Debby and I completely changed what I was going to create I was so inspired by her card. LOVED it.

I heat embossed the Queen Anne's lace image from the Laugh in Flowers stamp set using Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder. I then did some easy Distress Oxide ink blending using Mowed Lawn, Speckled Egg and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide inks.

I heat embossed the Deco Squares background onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock with the same White Satin Pearl embossing powder. The sentiments are from the CZ Design Clean Line Gratitude set. 

I added a TON of bling lol - I have links to them all in the supplies below.

I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the image from the Laugh in Flowers set with the same Oxide inks, and added another sentiment from the Clean Line Gratitude set. I also coordinated the Desert Storm envelope to match and that was it!

So now on to today's cards (and bookmark!):

I created 2 slimline cards and a bookmark with an assortment of Mama Elephant stamps and dies and some stencils from My Favorite Things.

These are 3.5 x 8.5" slimline cards.

I used both the Little Mummy Agenda set and Little Boo Agenda set for these cards and bookmark. I stamped all the images onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink and coloured them in with Copic Markers.

Mama Elephant's Slim Film City wafer die set was used for both cards, and on the backgrounds I used MFT's Cloud stencil and Ray of Light Stencil with Distress inks. On the cloud layer die cut I used MFT's Card Sized Star Confetti Stencil.

For the sentiments on the card I used Mama Elephant's Happy wafer die and spelled out Halloween with the Lots of Letters stamp set. I added a BUNCH of bling using Bat-tastic Sprinkles, and Studio Katia Iridescent Stars and Studio Katia Neon Tangerine Crystals.

Since I had SO MANY images I made a bookmark too. I die cut the base with Mama Elephant's Bookmark It dies and sentiments from the Good Reads stamp set.

I finished off the insides of the cards with the leftover images from the Little Mummy Agenda and Little Boo Agenda sets and that was it!

Today's STAMPtember exclusive collab is with Clearly Besotted!!

You can check out the Limited Edition Skating Around stamp set HERE and the Limited Edition Skating Around stamp and coordinating wafer dies set HERE. As with all the limited edition exclusive sets these are while supplies last and when they sell out (which they've been doing WAY faster than in previous years) they're gone!

Here's what I made:

I stamped the images from the Skating Around set onto Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink and coloured them all in with Copic Markers.

I used my Tonic Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss pen to add shimmer to the ice and ornaments and whatnot. I then used my White Gelly Roll pen as well as the white pens from the Snow Queen Storytime Paint Pens pack to create snow and highlights.

I finished off the inside of the card by adding a couple more critters from the Skating Around set and white heat embossed sentiments that I added to the outside and inside and that was it!

Avery Elle Holiday Bells | STAMPtember Exclusive Limited Edition

Hello friends!! Today's STAMPtember exclusive collab is with Avery Elle!

OK here's what I made with this set:

These are 3.5 x 8.5" slimline cards.

I stamped the images from the Holiday Bells set onto Simon's 120lb smooth white card stock using a variety of Concord & 9th inks. I LOVED how well the inks worked and LOVED how easily all the parts and images of the Holiday Bells set layered together.

I used Concord & 9th's coordinating card stock for the sentiment (white heat embossed the Happy Holidays from the Holiday Bells set) and for the frame which was die cut with Simon's Slimline Scallop Frame wafer dies.

I stamped the images from the Holiday Bells set onto the insides of the cards as well as onto white slimline envelopes. I added some gold splatter using the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors palette to the envelopes and card fronts and that was it!

TWO STAMPtember Exclusives: Memory Box and Concord & 9th!

That's right friends! TWO different Limited Edition sets are here for STAMPTEMBER! So I have two cards and TWO videos to share with y'all in this post! Woot woot!

First off we have Memory Box!!

You can check out the Memory Box Life's Path Limited Edition stamp set HERE. As with all the limited edition STAMPtember exclusives this is while supplies last and when it's sold out it's gone!

Here's what I made with it:

This is a 3.5 x 8.5" slimline card.

I pulled out my MASSIVE Memory Misti (seriously - I'm so glad I got one finally but yeah - it's HUGE lol) and used that to "extend" the stamps in the Life's Path stamp set to create this slimline card with a little bit of masking using Simon's Masking Paper and my Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves ink.

It was too perfect not to use my Prima Woodlands watercolor palette to color in this background. Once it was painted and splattered within an inch of its life I die cut it with the largest Slimline Nested Rectangles wafer die. 

On the inside of the card I did the same technique as the front and extended the stamps and used Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide ink. I stamped the trees onto a Slimline Grocery Bag envelope with the Fallen Leaves ink and that was it!

OK now on to the second Limited Edition release - this one with Concord & 9th!!

You can check out the Limited Edition 'Tis the Season stamp set HERE, and get one while supplies last!

Here's what I created with this set:

I white heat embossed the large wreath from the 'Tis the Season set onto Distress watercolor paper and did some messy watercoloring with Distress Oxide inks (specific colors listed in the supplies below). I stamped the wood boards of the image onto a second piece with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and gold heat embossed one of the sentiments from the set onto it.

I fussy cut out the sentiment and adhered it to the card with Simon's Big Momma foam tape. I also added Studio Katia Poseidon Crystals, Wine Berry Pearls and Gold Spark Crystals to get my bling fix 😉.

I stamped the wreath on the inside of the card and onto the Schoolhouse Red envelope. I added another sentiment to the inside of the card from the 'Tis the Season set and that was it!

Hello hello everyone!! It's time for another STAMPtember collab release - this one is with Honey Bee Stamps!!

I decided to combine my card today with the current Color Throwdown Challenge:

Here's what I created with these colors and the Limited Edition On My Mind stamp set:

I stamped the wreath and the hello sentiment from the On My Mind set with Fallen Leaves Versafine Clair ink onto Distress Watercolor paper and heat embossed it with Wow's Clear Matt Dull embossing powder. I watercolored in the image with several Distress Oxide inks (specific colors used are listed in the supplies below!) before adding the die cut Friend.

To create the background on the card base I layered the Garden Lattice Cover Plate - Base and Garden Lattice Cover Plate - Top wafer dies using Neenah Desert Storm card stock. I added a BUNCH of gold splatter using Ranger Gold Perfect Pearl powder mixed with water. I also added extra bling with Studio Katia pearls and crystals.

I finished off the inside of the card and the envelope by stamping the wreath on both and stamped another sentiment from the On My Mind set onto the inside and that was it!

It's the 10th of the month already - and time for another STAMPtember exclusive - this time with My Favorite Things!

As with all the Limited Edition exclusive these are while supplies last and once they sell out (which has been REALLY crazy fast this year) they're gone.

Here's what I made with the set:

This is a 3.5 x 8.5" slimline card.

I stamped all the cats from the Purrfect Friends set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves ink onto Distress watercolor paper and heat embossed them with Wow's Clear Matt Dull embossing powder. Once heat set I watercolored them all in with my Prima Complexions watercolor palette.

For the card front I die cut Neenah Desert Storm card stock with the stitched wafer die from MFT's Slimline Starter wafer die set. I blended Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink over the MFT English Brick Wall stencil onto the panel, and added some Coffee Bean Heart Sprinkles.

On the inside of the card and on the Grocery Bag Slimline envelope I stamped the solid paw image from the Purrfect Friends set with the Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink and that was it!

SugarPea Designs Shiver Me Timbers | STAMPtember Exclusive Limited Edition

Hello everyone!! Today's STAMPtember collab is with SugarPea Designs! 

You can check out the Limited Edition Shiver Me Timbers stamp set HERE and the Limited Edition Shiver Me Timbers stamp and coordinating die set HERE. As with all the collabs these are limited edition - meaning once they sell out they're gone!

Here's what I made with the set:

I did some masking using Simon's Masking Paper (I forgot how GREAT this is - I rave about them in the video lol) using some of the images from the Shiver Me Timbers stamp set. After I'd masked them I stamped the Wood Planks background using Dark Chocolate ink, then blended Vintage Photo Distress ink over it. I blended 3 different blue Distress inks (colors listed in supplies) and then removed all the masks.

It's SO hard to tell in the picture but I coated all the treasure with my Tonic Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss - so they really sparkle. I stamped the card base with that same Wood Planks background and the Dark Chocolate ink.

I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the other pirate from the set with Dark Chocolate ink. I white heat embossed sentiments from the Shiver Me Timbers stamp set onto black card stock and trimmed them all down to add to the front and inside of the card and that was it!

Picket Fence Studios Happy Water | STAMPtember Exclusive Limited Edition

Hello hello everyone! Post and video #2 from me today! If you missed the previous one you can find it here:

You Matter Card | Easy Geometric Watercolor

So today's STAMPtember collaboration set is with Picket Fence Studios! You can check out the Limited Edition Happy Water stamp set HERE and the Limited Edition Happy Water Stamp and Coordinating Die Set HERE. As with all the collab sets this is Limited Edition while supplies last, once it's sold out it's gone!

Here's what I made with it:

I stamped the cluster of drinks onto Bristol Smooth card stock with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then used a bunch of Distress Inks (all colors used are listed below in the supplies!) and a mini water brush to color them all in.

I used the Large Falling Snow stencil on top of the image and applied GinaK Glitz Glitter Gel. The Bubble Wrap Stencil was used on the card base with Twisted Citron Distress Ink.

I stamped the inside with the drinks and added a sentiment from the Happy Water set, and paired the card with a Lemon Chiffon envelope and that was it!

You Matter Card | Easy Geometric Watercolor

Hey everyone!! As per usual I didn't get a chance to get a card up for last week's Color Throwdown challenge:

LOVE these colors! You can check out what the rest of the team created with them HERE <------click! plus there's a bunch of inspiration from everyone else that played along! A new challenge with new colors will be up on Wednesday!

Here's what I created:

I gold heat embossed the Fractured Background stamp onto Arches hot press watercolor paper, and then watercolored in the background using my Prima Tropicals palette. I added splatter using the palette and added gold splatter using my Ranger Gold Perfect Pearls powder mixed with water.

I used the new You Matter wafer die set for the main sentiment - die cutting the words from Tonic's Gold Pearl satin card stock. The smaller sentiment is from the Tiny Words Support set (LOVE that set - SO many great and uplifting sentiments in it!) and I gold heat embossed it onto the Soft Navy card stock.

I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Because of You stamp set that I heat embossed with gold embossing powder onto more Soft Navy card stock and that was it!

Lawn Fawn Season's Tweetings | STAMPtember Exclusive Limited Edition

Yay!! One of THE always-most-anticipated STAMPtember collabs is available now - from LawnFawn!!

I made a fun slimline card using the Season's Tweetings stamp and die set:

This is a 3.5 x 8.5" slimline card.

I created a background by smooshing Speckled Egg, Pine Needles and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks onto Distress watercolor paper. Once dry I die cut it with one of the new Slimline Nested Rectangles wafer dies, and framed it with one of the Slimline Scalloped Frame wafer dies.

I stamped a bunch of the images from the Season's Tweetings set onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating wafer dies to cut them all out and adhered them to the card front. 

I splattered the card front with white ink and Ranger's Perfect Pearl powder mixed with water.

On the inside of the card I added a few more of the stamped and die cut images. I also stamped one of the sentiments and the music notes from the Season's Tweetings set. I paired the card with a Schoolhouse Red Slimline Envelope and that was it!

Here's what I made using the set:

I stamped the floral onto Arches hot press watercolor paper using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed it with Wow's Clear Matt Dull embossing powder. To color in the image I watercolored it using Inkon3's Atelier inks and a watercolor brush.

After it dried I splattered the background with Ranger Perfect Pearl powder mixed with water. The panel was die cut with one of Simon's Basic Rectangle wafer dies, and then I added the frame and sentiments from the Framed Friendship stamp set. 

The card base I stencilled using the new Deco Squares stencil and the Peacock Blue Atelier ink.

On the inside of the card and on the matching Surf Blue envelope I stamped the floral image using the same Peacock Blue ink and that was it!

Mama Elephant Winter Fox | STAMPtember Exclusive Limited Edition

Ahhhhh!!! Today's STAMPtember Limited Edition collab is with Mama Elephant!! I'm a collector of Mama Elephant and have been for YEARS. I absolutely adore the brand and own a ridiculous amount of it lol!

You can check out the Limited Edition stamp and die combo HERE and the stamp set alone HERE. EVERY STAMPtember the Mama Elephant collab sells out REALLY fast (and I know they keep upping the quantities they get in for it b/c it's always popular) so grab it while you can!

I made a fun slimline holiday card using the Winter Fox set:

This is a 3.5 x 8.5" slimline card.

After I made my card base I applied GinaK Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel over the new Large Snowfall stencil. I set that aside to dry and then stamped one of the images from the Winter Fox stamp set onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb card stock using Simon's Intense Black ink. I coloured in the image with Copic markers and added some white gel pen highlights.

It's subtle but I added a bit of Tonic's Fresh Snowfall Glitter Accents just to the "ground" area around the fox and snowmen. The sentiment was white heat embossed onto grey card stock before adhering it to the card front.

On the inside of the card I added another white heat embossed sentiment and I stamped and coloured another of the images from the Winter Fox set. To complete everything I stencilled white pigment ink using the Large Snowfall stencil again over a Slate slimline envelope and that was it!
