Of course I couldn't resist inking up the new Spring Gnomes set and decided to try my hand at some more no-line watercoloring:
I love all the gnomes in the Spring Gnomes set but I HAD to ink up the bunny gnome first - not only is he too cute to resist, but of all the gnomes I consider this one easiest to do no-line colouring with (all of them will work you'll just need more patience with the other images IMO).
I stamped the gnome onto Arches Cold Pressed watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress ink. I then coloured him in using my AlteNew watercolor palette, and added a bit of shading and dimension with my Polychromos color pencils.
After I was done colouring I stamped the sentiment from the Spring Gnomes stamp set with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
On the card base I stamped Simon's You Are Background stamp with Stone ink onto the Stone card stock.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the gnome with the Stone ink and then stamped another sentiment with the Nocturne ink and that was it!
