I stamped the large floral onto the inside of the card with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink, then added some sentiments from the same stamp set and that was it!

Hey everyone! So I just finished editing this one (still more to go so stay tuned!) - and since we woke up to it blizzarding snow this morning these bright and cheerful cards are too perfect lol.
I pulled out a couple of the patterned papers that come in Simon Says Stamp's April 2020 card kit. I did an unboxing and card project (using one of the other papers) here if you missed it:
I REALLY didn't want to cover up these patterns too much as they're so bright and fabulous. So I pulled out Simon's Heart to Heart Background stamp and white heat embossed it onto each of the papers. I then cut them down with the second largest Basic Rectangles wafer dies.
I finished off the insides of the cards with the rest of the patterned paper that I'd heat embossed the Heart to Heart background onto them. I added another sentiment from the Just Because Word Mix 2 set and that was it!

So I'm getting footage edited and posted while I play catchup (the story of my life it seems lol) - this one being for last week's Color Throwdown Challenge:
I stamped the bunny gnome onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink and coloured it in with Copic markers. I also stamped the little heart from the set, then cut them all out with the coordinating wafer die set.
On the inside of the card I used the leftover piece from the card front as well as a sentiment from the Spring Gnomes set. I quickly created a matching envelope by heat embossing the gnome onto a Cotton Candy envelope and that was it!

Today's cards are cheerful encouragement cards - something we NEED right now in my opinion.
I used Simon's Daisy Bouquet stencil and several Distress Inks to create my card fronts. I also used the Distress Inks with a paintbrush and a little water to add some splatter while I was at it.

Hey everyone!! OK back with another video! Rather than do one video for the unboxing (which is what I usually do because of time and whatnot) and one for the card I just combined them into one video! I may continue doing that in the future but we'll just see what happens!
Simon's April Card Kit is AWESOME - I love them every month but the colors and messages on the sentiments and just EVERYTHING about this one and at this time really gets me. You can check out the kit HERE <-------click! plus I'll have links to everything at the end of this post!
Here's the first card I made:
I stamped the image from the Follow the Rainbows stamp set onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock using Intense Black ink. I then coloured it in with a bunch of my cool grey Copic markers, fussy cut it out and edged it with my Memento Tuxedo Black marker.
I stamped the image again onto one of the patterned papers that come in the April kit, and then adhered the coloured and fussy cut image over it. The sentiments were white heat embossed onto Doll Pink and Royal Purple card stocks and popped on with some Big Momma Foam Tape.
I finished off the inside by stamping the image with one of the hybrid inks that came in the kit, adding another heat embossed sentiment from the Follow the Rainbows set and that was it!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are staying in (if you can - and for EVERYONE working in necessary jobs to keep us stocked with food and medicine, healthcare workers etc etc - THANK YOU) and staying safe!
I started this card over a month ago.....normally I make a card in one sitting (and then share it with you guys). This one just had one thing after another going on - but I saved the footage and the pieces and finally got it finished:
I white heat embossed MFT's Hydrangeas in Bloom stamp onto Distress Watercolor paper. I then used Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Violet Brocade and Falling Leaves to paint them in.
To finish off the inside of the card I inked up the Hydrangeas in Bloom image with Tombow markers, lightly misted it with water and stamped it on the inside of the card. I then stamped sentiments from the All About You stamp set with the Slate ink I used with the stencil and that was it!

Yeah.....yeah.... This is just a tab bit behind - like a LOT behind. I sound worse in this video b/c I filmed it a while ago and then didn't have the energy to edit and upload it. I'm feeling so much better now - still not 100% but definitely tons better! SO now I've got this edited and uploaded, can share all these awesome new Studio Katia releases with y'all, and then get to actually USING so much of the things I've been sent, have purchased and letsbehonest - all the stuff I've hoarded for years now 😉😉.
And here are the links to everything - I did include links to a few other new embellishments Studio Katia's released since I got mine:

Hey everyone. It's been a crazy couple of weeks hasn't it? EVERYTHING is insane. On my end it's been dealing with a LOT going on in our house with sickness etc (among all the other more provincial/national/global issues). I am right now dealing with a horrible cold (which I know could be so much worse) so my voice sounds pretty awful!
That said I had a card and video made that basically NEEDED to go up as it was St. Patrick's Day inspired which is today! That plus I think we all need some cheerful good luck wishes right now don't we?
Before I get to listing all the supplies a couple of heads up:

Simon's April Card Kit <-------click! looks amazing (I'm waiting on mine to get here - Simon sends them to me early since I design for them). I love all the rainbow-goodness I'm seeing!

Hey everyone! Simon Says Stamp JUST released a Limited Edition Easter Card Kit (this is not part of the monthly card kit subscription - the April kit will be revealed in a couple more days!). Simon sent me the kit to make samples with and it JUST arrived today! So I got an unboxing video filmed to share with y'all and hopefully can get cards up ASAP (one after another has been sick or is sick here - thankfully just colds so far - so I have been dealing with that).
Simon also released 2 other new products - a Spring Nest wafer die and a Basket Weave cling background stamp. Those aren't part of the kit but I thought I'd mention and link to them (links are below!) as they're PERFECT for Easter/Spring projects IMO.

Hello everyone! I hope y'all had a great weekend. We got a bunch of snow over ours - not surprising for March in Saskatchewan but it just makes me want spring even more!
The Mountain Z-Fold Card is SUPER easy to assemble - just die cut, fold the tabs and adhere.
I used the Mountain Z-Fold Stencils and Masks set to do some inking on the cloud and mountain layers. On the mountain layer I used the mask and clear embossing ink so that I could add white embossing powder and melt it. It looks like snow! On the cloud layer I used the cloud masks and added a bit of Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.
To add some color to the cards I pulled out the Up, Up and Away stamp set and white heat embossed the hot air balloons. I watercolored them in rainbow colors and die cut them with the coordinating wafer dies.
I added the smaller hot air balloon to the mountain layer, and the larger balloon to the inside of the card so that it's peeking out through the clouds. The sentiments are from the Blown Away set. I white heat embossed them onto black card stock then die cut them using the coordinating wafer die set and that was it!

Hello everyone!! I've been LOVING Simon's Lucky to Know You release. I already did a card video as well as a Release & Review video - if you missed those you can find them here:
You can shop the Lucky to Know You release HERE <-------click! AND as part of the blog hop I have a couple of codes to share with y'all!
I'll have giveaway info at the end of the post, and will link to all the stops on the hop below as well.
OK - so for today's card I already had an idea in mind, and then changed how I was going to do the background after seeing THIS AMAZING CARD by Cynthia Norberg <---click! I loved everything about her card (and want to try something like it down the road) but what inspired my card was the way she did the splatter and loose watercolor bits. I decided to incorporate the idea of that into the background of my card:
I used Simon's new Stitching Panel wafer die for my background. I ran it through my die cut machine with Distress watercolor paper, and I didn't use a metal adapter plate, nor did I run it through more than once (a wafer die like this that's so big with SO many little holes I highly recommend a metal adapter plate if you want all the holes to pop out, or if you have a Gemini machine using the metal shim that it comes with). All I wanted was the texture - and I gotta say this is probably going to be another wafer die that I was just "ok" with at first, and then reach for ALL the time lol. I like stitching on cards but I don't do it that often, however using this to create texture like this? LOVE.
I die cut more of the Distress watercolor paper, this time with the Crocus Flowers wafer die set. I used my AlteNew watercolors with it and did some REALLY easy messy watercolor on them, and didn't pop out the centre areas as I liked how they looked left in place. I added a bit of loose watercolor to the background (that was inspired by Cynthia's card!) and some splatter.

Simon will choose the winners over the weekend and post on the Simon Says Stamp store blog on Wednesday the 11th of March (3/11). All the winners can email Simon Says Stamp to claim his/her prize.
Thanks so much for stopping by and good luck! ❤️❤️❤️
Of course I couldn't resist inking up the new Spring Gnomes set and decided to try my hand at some more no-line watercoloring:
I love all the gnomes in the Spring Gnomes set but I HAD to ink up the bunny gnome first - not only is he too cute to resist, but of all the gnomes I consider this one easiest to do no-line colouring with (all of them will work you'll just need more patience with the other images IMO).
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the gnome with the Stone ink and then stamped another sentiment with the Nocturne ink and that was it!
