Hey everyone! So I'm still playing catch up with everything - being sick for a month really put me behind.
Anywho - last week's Color Throwdown challenge was a fun combo - you can check it out HERE. That challenge is over and a new one is up - I'll have a card and video for that posted as soon as I'm done editing!
Here's the card I made for last week:
I used Simon's new Peony Bouquet stencil on top of Neenah Desert Storm card stock. And I made a matching envelope using the A2 V Flap Envelope wafer die cut from the same card stock.
I blended Distress Oxide inks over the stencil (I LOOOOOVVVEEE how oxide inks look over Desert Storm card stock!), and add a light amount of shading using my Polychromos color pencils.
The sentiment is from the Miss You Missy stamp set and was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I added a tiny bit of texture and bling to the flower centres with Nuvo Ballroom Blue Glitter Accents. It went well with the patterned paper which is from the Nuvo Blue Blossom pack. I used the patterned paper on the envelope flaps - and the stencil on the front of the envelope:
On the inside of the card I stamped another sentiment from the Miss You Missy stamp set and that was it!
