Hey everyone! So today's post is literally a first impression/first use of the InkOn3 Atelier inks. These were released a couple of months ago and I was SO excited when Io3 sent them to me. Then I got sick. So they've sat here waiting for me to try them out and so for today's card I did. I'll do more videos and use them in different ways later on - for now it's just a quick first impression:
I heat embossed one of the images from Simon's new Be Kind stamp set using Rangers Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I then watercolored them in using a few of the new Atelier inks (Goddess Green, Bee Sting Yellow, Peacock Blue, My Jam Purple). I used the inks to do a "little" (for me lol) splatter and let it all dry.
So far I am REALLY liking these inks - I talk about them a bit more in the video as well. I'm sure there are already several posts and videos out there with a LOT more info on these than me - thanks to my bout with bronchitis and walking pneumonia I'm way behind.
After everything was dry I stamped Simon's You Are background stamp on top of everything using Simon's Fossil ink. I also stamped a sentiment from the Be Kind set using Versafine Clair ink (today's card while more clean and simple used a lot of different types and brands of ink LOL!).
I used one of the A2 Thin Frames wafer dies on the card front and inlaid a frame die cut from Neenah Desert Storm card stock. I also couldn't resist adding some Studio Katia June Crystals to the card while I was at it.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the You Are background and the leaf image from the Be Kind set with the Fossil ink and the sentiment with Nocturne ink. I pulled a purple envelope out of my stash and inked up the leaf image with the Goddess Green and My Jam Purple Atelier inks and stamped it onto the envelope and that was it!
