Happy weekend everyone! SO - as promised in my last post - here's a batch of cards using Nuvo Glacier Paste. And since it's that time let's make this one the start of my 2019 Christmas Card Series. I've actually made several Christmas-themed cards starting back in July - if you missed any of them you can check them all out in the links below:
Now on to today's cards:
I used Honey Bee Stamps Snowfall Background Stencil and 4 different colors of Nuvo Glacier Paste. While this video is coming AFTER my previous post and video using Glacier Paste this was actually my first time using it on these cards. I was SO stoked to see how flat it dried and that it really looks foiled! Hence me calling it "faux foiling" lol!
After all that paste was dry (which didn’t take long – it will obviously depend on your temperature and climate etc but for me it took maybe a couple of hours to fully dry? It may have even been less but I was running kids around and making supper) I kept the rest of the card elements simple.
I heat embossed one of the large sentiments from the Season to Sparkle stamp set, and die cut them with the coordinating Honey Cuts wafer die set. I also added a few Nuvo Crystal Gems for some added bling.
I finished off the insides of the cards by heat embossing another sentiment from the Season to Sparkle set using the same embossing powders and that was it!
