As well make sure to check out Stacy's blog post HERE <-----click! as I was totally inspired by her cards and technique when I made mine!!
After I made those other spooky background cards I kept mulling over how to make that work with Simon's Spooky Silhouette Background stamp. I'd already made a card with that stamp HERE but I wanted to make more - so I did:
I used 2 different colors of Distress Spray Stain for each card - Milled Lavender and Seedless Preserves for the card on the left and Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin for the card on the right. On both backgrounds I also added Black Soot Distress Spray Stain and Black Soot Distress Oxide Spray.
I stamped the Spooky Silhouette Background and heat embossed it with Tonic's Glitter Noir embossing powder onto both backgrounds. I used that same embossing powder to coat black card stock that I then die cut with CZ Design's Trick or Treat wafer die.
The little sentiment strips are from Simon's Sentiment Strips Halloween - I cut them out and then inked them up with the same Distress Spray Stains to give them some color.
Of course I added some bling too lol - Studio Katia Iridescent stars and then coordinating colors of jewels from Little Things by Lucy's Cards.
I finished off the insides of the cards by stamping the Spooky Silhouette Background with coordinating colors of Distress Oxide inks. I then stamped sentiments from the Handlettered Halloween stamp set and that was it!
