Hello everyone!! Thanks to catching the worst cold last week (we all came down with some form of it - uggghhhh) I'm playing catch-up now LOL!

I went Halloween with my cards:
I used My Favorite Things Spooktacular Stamp set with the coordinating wafer dies as my main images. And I didn't color them. Crazy right? Hear me out: I wanted to keep the images simple, plus focus on the backgrounds I made. Plus lets be honest: I was in the beginning stages of the chest cold and my nose was running so much that it was horrible trying to do anything (like a bunch of colouring) with my head tilted downwards b/c well.....it's just gross LOL!!
Really though - I sometimes like not colouring in line images - ones like these have so much great detail to them already that they can get away with it. IMO anyway.
I used Distress Oxide inks to create the blended backgrounds, splattered with Black Soot Distress Paint of course. I pulled out some older wafer die sets: Cause for Celebration, Skinny Strips and Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips. I also pulled out my MUCH loved (with backups on hand!) Black & White Stripes patterned paper too.
I finished off the insides of the cards with more patterned paper strips and sentiments from the Spooktacular Friends set, and then stamped the same images and pumpkins and that was it!
