Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Limited Edition Releases!
OK on to today's card:
Honey Bee Stamps created this gorgeous Fall Beauty stamp set for STAMPtember. It is only available while supplies last through September 2019. You can get it as a stamp set only or as a stamp set + coordinating wafer die set. Of course I'm all about large floral images so this was right up my alley!
I stamped the large floral image onto Bee Watercolor paper with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves ink. Usually I use black Nocturne ink to stamp my images, but I really love the look of images stamped in a brown ink. It's just softer in a way IMO.
After stamping it I watercolored it with my Mijello Mission Gold watercolors, let it dry completely then first added brown splatter from the palette. I then mixed up gold with some Perfect Pearls Gold powder and water and splattered that over the images as well.
I used Simon's Deco Weave stencil and dry embossed it onto some Kraft card stock (I'm somewhat obsessed with this stencil lately, and dry embossing with stencils especially). I stamped a matching Kraft envelope with the large floral image using Delicate Golden Glitz ink.
I did the same thing with the inside of the card - stamping the large floral with the Delicata Golden Glitz ink and then I stamped a sentiment with the Fallen Leaves ink and that was it!
