Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Limited Edition Releases!
Last week's Color Throwdown Challenge was this:
You can check out what the rest of the design team made with these colors HERE <-------click! There's still a little bit of time left to play along if you'd like before the new challenge is up on Wednesday!
So for my card I pulled out Simon's Sketched Flowers set. They released a coordinating die set with the STAMPtember release so I wanted to use that. Plus I hadn't actually coloured in the florals in this set before - my previous videos using it were more technique-based (and both were for previous Color Throwdown Challenges too lol):

So here's what I created this time:
I heat embossed the large floral image onto Ranger water-colour paper using Inkon3's Strawberry Champagne embossing powder. To color them in I used the Karin Brushmarker Pro's and a water brush and then die cut everything with the coordinating dies after they'd dried.
To get that gorgeous dry embossed impression I ran the new Deco Weave stencil through my Platinum 6 machine following the instructions to dry emboss with wafer dies. I only needed to add an extra piece of card stock as a shim and got this fabulous texture on the card stock.
For splatter I used a mix of a couple different Gansai Tambi palettes - I mixed a pale gold from the Starry Colors and a pink color from the Pearl Colors palettes to get a close match to the Strawberry Champagne embossing powder.
The sentiments on both the outside and inside of the card are from the Greetings Mix 1 stamp set and were both heat embossed with the Strawberry Champagne embossing powder and that was it!
