Hello everyone!!! SO - when I posted my SSS Believe In You Release & Review video I'd shown the die cuts using the newest floral stem dies. I've had them sitting here since then just waiting to be coloured up and I was feeling in a bit of a funk so I pulled them out. Having something even partially "done" helps some times (so does organizing my office - because you KNOW when you start you come across things you forgot about and have to start creating with. Which is also why that's a never-ending cycle (for me anyway)) when I'm feeling frustrated and "not crafty".
So I pulled out those die cuts and some water-colours and made a card:
I watercolored each of the Daisy Stem, Sunflower Stem and Cosmos Stem with AlteNew's water-colour palette, and added a bunch of splatter (of course). I'm also back on the Perfect Pearl splatter kick (TOTALLY inspired by Debby Hughes with that - I stalk her social media and am inspired all the time by her).
I used the Stripe Jumble Background stamp and clear heat embossed it onto Fog card stock. I am just now IN LOVE with this stamp. I didn't think I would care for it too much at first and as soon as I inked it up and pulled away the card stock I was all 😍😍😍 LOL!
All the sentiments are from the Thanks and Encouragement Word Mix 1 stamp and die set. Also something I'm in love with. I did a video HERE on that set and have had all the extras I didn't use in a (very cute cat shaped) dish on my desk. So that was another "done" thing - I just needed to pick out which ones I wanted and adhere them to the card.
I stamped the Stripe Jumble stamp onto the inside of the card with Fog ink (see what I mean? It's SO perfect) and added a couple more sentiments and that was it!
