I wanted to create a card using the birds in the set too. This is what I came up with:
I was really inspired by the patterned paper from the kit - this pattern specifically. I took some Distress Water-colour card stock and drew lines on it with a T-square ruler and a Pilot Envelope Addressing pen, and stamped the birds with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.
I used a bunch of Distress Oxide inks to paint the background and the birds. I chose colors that went well with the patterned paper and painted the birds in the order the colors appear in the paper.
I used sentiments from the Look for the Rainbow stamp set and white heat embossed them onto black card stock. On the inside of the card I added the sentiment and stamped a couple of the birds with the Distress Oxide inks and that was it!
