I gold heat embossed all the images from the set onto Ranger watercolor card stock and then watercolored them using the Prima Classics watercolors. After they were dry I die cut them with the coordinating wafer dies and adhered them all with foam tape to the card bases.
I kept the insides of the cards simple and gold heat embossed more sentiments onto black card stock before adhering them and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.
Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
A completely different look from yesterday's cards, and again totally different from THIS post I'd made using this stamp set!
I gold heat embossed one of the florals and one of the leaves from the Delicate Flowers set onto black card stock and vellum. For the florals I watercolored them with the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors set.
I finished off the insides of the cards by gold heat embossing the sentiment and then stamping the flower and leaves with Delicata Golden Glitz ink and that was it!

I used Simon Says Stamp's Delicate Flowers stamp and die set - I fell in LOVE with this set when it was part of one of the monthly kits and ordered the coordinating die set as soon as SSS released it! I white heat embossed the flowers onto Distress watercolor card stock and then watercolored them with a combo of Distress ink and Distress Oxide Inks.
I finished off the insides of the cards by stamping the images with the same Oxide inks, then stamped the sentiment with a Distress Archival ink and that was it!

Happy Friday!!! I am SO excited to tell y'all that Spellbinders invited me to join in today's blog hop to showcase their new release with Jane Davenport! To celebrate this release Jane has a FREE Making Faces Workshop: Join Jane as she celebrates the global release of her groundbreaking ‘Making Faces’ collection. Each of these beauty inspired art supplies offer myriad creative tricks! The ‘Making Faces’ workshop is an online art class. This means you can tune in when convenient, enjoy the lessons at your own pace, rewind as needed and learn in your pajamas if that’s what suits you!
As this is a blog hop I'll have links to all the other stops further down in my post and there's GIVEAWAY info as well!
Spellbinders was super generous and sent me a bunch of the new products, and I decided to film a "Release & Review" video for y'all so that you could SEE what everything looks like. I'd been checking it out online when it was all first released but like all things it makes more sense when you actually see some of it!
Here are links to everything I showed in the "Release & Review" portion of the video:
I made a couple of projects with the new products. The first one I was literally just playing around and ended up colouring in the swatch piece that comes with the Silky Skin Color Stick Collection:
I used the Color Sticks with the Blending Sponges, as well as some of the pens and the Silver Screen Pen. The "Queen" and the purple crown are from the new Queen for a Day die set and I adhered those on top and added some details and highlights with a white gel pen.
I stamped all the images from the set onto scraps of different coloured card stock that I'd trimmed to one inch squares. After they were all stamped I adhered them to white card bases with foam squares.
On the inside of the cards I stamped a sentiment from the Mindful Pause stamp set with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and that was it!

Now for the GIVEAWAY!!!
To celebrate this release, Spellbinders is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes on Sunday, July 7th 11:59 pm EDT. Winners will be announced in the Spellbinders blog hop post the following Monday. The winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties, and taxes.
I hadn't had a chance to ink up Simon Says Stamp's new Comfort & Prayers stamp set - I LOVE the butterflies in the set so I white heat embossed the large one onto Distress watercolor card stock. I then used my Prima Pastel Dreams watercolor palette to color it and the butterfly on the inside in before fussy cutting both of them.
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Tiny Words Encouragement stamp set. I added the second butterfly from the Comfort & Prayers set and a few more butterflies I'd die cut using the Flickering Butterflies set and that was it!

Monday?!? Like I mention in my video today, June is just a crazy month for me. SO much going on and with my kids getting older there's more and more end-of-the-school-year things going on than ever before. I feel like I'm running behind to the extreme more than just my regular "always behind" lolol!!
Anywho - My Favorite Things had another great release this month! I've had it sitting here and then had a chance over the weekend when ALL the kids were quiet (rare - so rare - I should have taken a nap and REALLY savoured it lol) so I quickly filmed this Release & Review video:

If you missed it don't forget about my big haul and giveaway I posted yesterday!
I'm SLOOOWWWLLLYYY chipping away at my big box full of products I've ordered and that were sent to me over the past however many months. It all just piled up like crazy - BUT the nice thing about that is that I can film extra long "haul" videos AND toss in a big giveaway while I'm at it!
During all the craziness of this year I've been slowly going through my studio and purging all the product that has been discontinued or that I just know I'm not going to get a chance to use. Since I have such a great group of y'all that watch my videos and read my blog I'll keep doing giveaways like this where I'll pack a box FULL and just give it away to one of you! All you'll have to do is stay tuned as I'll post them pretty randomly!

Now for the GIVEAWAY!!!
I packed a box FULL of stamps and dies, papers and embellishments to give to one of you! Some of it is brand new and some has been gently used.
To be entered all you need to do is follow the steps in the Rafflecopter widget below (please make sure you're using a current e-mail address that you check frequently (I don't keep/see any personal info other than the winner's e-mail address) as that's what I use to contact the winner!).
Ohhhhh what a week! A rotten cold bug has been going around and almost everyone in this house has some level of it. So that slowed down life, plus end of the school year things (more kids in school = more things going on) AND it was K's birthday!!
SO - I finally got the card made for her that I started last year lol:

So I ended up making 5 cards when I sat down with it:
I clear heat embossed the bee images from the Bee Yourself stamp set onto Bristol Smooth card stock after stamping them with Nocturne ink. To color them in I used Arteza's Real Brush pens and a water brush.
I finished off the insides of all the cards with more images from the Bee Yourself set. The honeycomb images were stamped with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink and the bees, sentiments, trails etc were stamped with the Nocturne ink and that was it!

Happy weekend everyone! This should come as no surprise to anyone but I'm still on a black/white/gold all the things kick. It just looks SO good with everything and ugh yeah I just love it. If you missed some of my other Honey Bee cards using this color combo here's a couple of posts (each with several cards!):
Needless to say I still reach for this set - and decided to use it again but put the white/gold/black twist on it!
I used Nuvo Gold Enchantment embossing power to heat emboss the large bouquet onto black card stock. I then (of course) added splatter with Picket Fence Distress Paint and Gansai Tambi Starry Colors.
I finished off the insides of the cards by stamping the Zen Bouquet with my Delicata Golden Glitz ink and then more sentiments from the Bloom stamp set and that was it!

This is Day 1 of 2 days of hops with a ton of inspiration. If you didn't get here from Vicky's blog you can start at the beginning HERE at the Studio Katia Blog! There's also GIVEAWAY info at the end of my post so stay tuned!
I made 2 cards using the new Birthday Balloons Duo Stencils along with some of the new stamps and coordinating dies from this release. I LOVE the layering effect of the Balloon Stencils so I made 2 cards using them - one in a pastel rainbow theme and one with brighter colors.
I used Distress Inks over the stencils and to stamp the confetti images from the It's Your Birthday stamp set onto the cards. On the second card I used the new Kobi Makes a Wish set and coordinating dies and watercolored them with Distress inks.
I finished off the insides of the cards with a combo of stencilling, stamping the confetti images and sentiments from the It's Your Birthday and Kobi Makes a Wish sets and that was it!

If you'd like to mail a card to be featured in an upcoming Happy Mail Haul video here's my mailing address:
Amy Rysavy
Box 1041 MARTENSVILLE PO
Martensville, SK
S0K 2T0
Canada
June Theme: Thank You/Teacher (school's out!)
July Theme: Water (ocean/beach/underwater etc)
August Theme: Back to School/Teacher/Thank You
(((a note about the themes - if you have ideas/suggestions for future themes feel free to post them in the comments below!)))
(A repost of some important info!!)
Like I mention in all the Happy Mail Haul videos - I am not strict with the themes.. The post can be notoriously slow especially getting to me here in Canada, so I like to share everything that shows up in my PO Box the previous month regardless! If you ever want to check out previous months Happy Mail Haul videos you can find them all here:
If you want to send ahead and mail cards for multiple themes in the same package I am totally OK with that. It helps if you add a sticky note or something to mark what month each card is for. Please do not send more than 2 cards for each theme (so there are the 3 upcoming months therefore 6 cards in total). I cannot accept large packages/boxes of cards. I don't have anywhere to store large amounts plus it takes up a lot of my time to film/edit/upload these videos and limiting the submissions to 2 per person ensures it's fair for everyone. Thank you for understanding!
If you are interested in donating your cards there are MANY charities and organizations out there. You would need to do your own research to find a cause/group/organization that works for you and what you want to do! Everything from local nursing homes/palliative care units/Ronald McDonald Houses to charities to cards for troops is out there - LOTS to choose from!
Also if you haven't sent in a card before but want to go ahead! I love seeing what y'all are making, and being able to share it with the rest of my audience. We all have to start somewhere ;). Also again there's no need to send gifts or anything like that. I more than appreciate the thought, and I read all the letters I receive (I can't respond to them but I read and keep all of them!).
For those reading/watching - I would love if you'd take the time to leave comments/questions/etc for those that sent in something in the comments below and I know those that sent in would love to read them!
Hey everyone! Today's post has 2 videos - I filmed a Release & Review video for Honey Bee's Ramblin' Man release PLUS a card video. These were meant to go up on Friday but EVERYTHING worked against me, and then they were supposed to go up this morning and I've been dealing with technical issues all day. LOL MONDAYS - why. That said lol, I'm excited about this release, and I'm stubborn so this is going up no matter what!!
Such a fun release amiright? You can find everything I showed here at the links below:
Now for my card:
I used Honey Bee's new Good Mix stamp set with the coordinating dies (I am LOVING this set - so many different occasions to create for with it IMO) and created a very 90's-themed card with it.
For the inside of the card I stamped the boombox with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink and then stamped a sentiment from the Rockstar Sentiments set and that was it!
