I made 2 rainbow cards with a matching envelope using the new Big Birthday Greetings stamp set. I created blended backgrounds using several Simon Says Stamp dye inks (all the colors used are listed below!) and then white heat embossed the candles and a couple of the sentiments from the stamp set onto the backgrounds.
On the card with the candles I coloured in the candles first with an Aqua Shimmer pen to add some glitter, then amped it up a bit by painting on Perfect Pearls mixed with water. I also used a yellow Copic marker (being careful not to touch the heat embossed image as Copic ink doesn't react well with melted embossing powder and it can wreck the nibs of the markers) to the candle flames just to make them pop a little bit.
I used the Perfect Pearls and water mixture to add splatter to both of the backgrounds as well just for some shimmery splatter.
On the inside of the candle card as well as on the envelope I inked up the candle image with the same inks I used to create the background and stamped them in rainbow order. With the card on the left I used the leftover piece of cardstock from die cutting it with the Rounded Corner Rectangles wafer die. It made this perfect frame and I didn't want to toss it so I adhered it to the inside of the card and added a sentiment from the Big Birthday Greetings set and that was it!
