Second - this is my second card and video for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge - more into on that HERE in my previous post!!
Earlier this week I was doing a bit of cleaning and organizing in my office and came across my stash of Nuvo Aqua Flow pens. I hadn't used them in such a long time and got new colors recently so I wanted to make a point of using them again!!
I heat embossed Simon Says Stamp's Pretty Peonies Background stamp onto Bee water-colour paper with Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder. I then used Wild Phlox, Fresh Green, Evergreen Fern and Cinnamon Stick Aqua Flow pens and a water brush to color in the background.
I added a second layer of color to the flowers and leaves but this time used my Aqua Shimmer Clear Glitter Gloss pen so they're all extra sparkly.
The Thinking of You die cut was made with 4 layers of Simon's Ivory card stock, and I used one of Simon's Ivory envelopes and stamped the Pretty Peonies background onto it with Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink.
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Big Scripty Greetings stamp set and I stamped with the same Oxide ink, and added the remaining bit of the watercolored background and that was it!
