Hello everyone!!! Life seems to have kept interrupting everything this past week - so I'm WAY late with my card for last week's Color Throwdown Challenge. I had everything set out and planned, all ready to go - life just had other plans 🙄. Anywho - I was determined to make the card as I really liked these colors - and when it's all planned out that's generally most of the work taken care of LOL!
You can check out what the rest of the team created using these colors HERE <------click! And even though time's pretty much up to play along with this challenge there will be a new one Wednesday!!
Here's what I made:
I bought Lawn Fawn's Let's Toast stamp set and the coordinating die sets MONTHS ago - and this Color Throwdown Challenge got me thinking and I thought it would all work perfectly with these colors. I also pulled some images from other Lawn Fawn Sets (Bun in the Oven and Love You a Latte) to complete my little breakfast scene.
Since there's the Let's Toast Pull Tab Add On wafer die set of course I had to own it and of course I needed to use it on this card! I say it in the video - this is no joke one of the EASIEST interactive cards I've attempted thus far. I watched Lawn Fawn's video on it here and didn't even watch the whole thing through before making this card (though with other types of interactive cards I need the instructional video every time lol).
OK hopefully this shows up for y'all - I am clueless with GIF images but I took a stab at it to upload here:
If it DID work - isn't it cute?!? You will also see it in action in my video below.
I finished off the inside of the card with slices of bread I'd coloured with Copics to look like they had peanut butter and jelly slathered on 'em, and stamped a sentiment from the Let's Toast set and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.
Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
