Well we're in the middle of a deep freeze (for those that have been asking I'm in Saskatchewan) - and Saskatoon was the coldest city in the world yesterday. -53C (-60ishF) - just COLD. It was close to the same today. Really nothing much changes here when it gets really cold. Business as usual, other than I end up having to chauffeur the kids around to/from school and wherever else as it's too cold to be outside for more than a few minutes.
Anywho - I finally got the video edited for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge:
You can see what the rest of the team created with these colors HERE <------click! and there's still time to play along if you'd like!
I was very much liking these WARM colors - and this is what I made:
I used the colors of Distress Ink to blend over a heart I'd masked off on my card base. Once the inks were on there I applied Moonstone Glimmer paste with a palette knife and let it dry.
I used Simon Says Stamp's Big Picture Book Elephant and added him with foam squares, then built the sentiment with alphabet dies and a heat embossed sentiment.
I finished off the inside of the card with another heat embossed sentiment and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.
Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
