Hello everyone!! OK first off - My Favorite Things January release went live this morning and IT. IS. FABULOUS. All of it is so right up my alley - I literally don't know what to use first! You can check out the entire release HERE <---------click! and I have links to it all below:
OK - now on to today's card and video. It's using LAST month's release (plus some oldie-but-goodies too) since I am playing catch up plus I literally had a bottle of wine picked out to coordinate with all of it LOL!
See what I mean? Loooovvveee. I literally went through my stash to find a color that went with the wine - which turned out to be more difficult (even with the amount of stuff *I* own lol!) than I originally thought. I settled on Lawn Fawn Guava ink which was unexpected but was the right color to "go" with the wine.
I was so excited to see MFT release the Wine Glass Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics and all the coordinating stamps and Mondo Cheers Die-namics. I had the Wine Tag and smaller Cheers Die-namics already as those were released last year (or the year before I think? I can't remember now - they're still available tho) and of course they all pair up perfectly.
I used MFT's Snowfall Background stamp and stamped it upside down on the card front and clear heat embossed it. I then used the LF Guava ink and my Picket Fence Life Changing Blender Brush to apply the ink and the clear embossing resisted it (I was going for "bubbles" - even tho it's regular wine my favorite is sparkling - plus I thought it looked cute!).
I did the same technique on the wine tag, and on the inside of the card I clear heat embossed a sentiment from the Good Time to Wine stamp set. I then applied the Guava ink and that was it!
