Hello everyone!! I'm proud to be a part of the 12 Designers of Christmas with Honey Bee Stamps!!
I had an impossible time trying to narrow down what products to use for my card - as I have a LOT of favourites in the Honey Bee line! I finally decided to combine some newly-released stamps and dies that I've been dying to ink up along with some oldie-but-goodie faves of mine to make this card:
I absolutely adore the Snow Buddies stamp set - I think the characters are so cute and of course it has a TON of options. Yet I decided to add one from another set - the to-go cup from the Penny the Platypus set lol! Since anything coffee-themed is always a favourite with me it seemed a perfect fit to give everyone a latte on this card!
I first created the background by blending Distress Oxide inks onto my card base, and then used one of the falling snow stencils from the Winter Wonder Background Stencil sets to apply some Glitter Glaze. After that was dry I added white splatter to really amp up the falling snow feel of the background.
All the images were stamped onto Copic friendly card stock with black ink then coloured in with Copics. I added some highlights and detail with a white gel pen then die cut all the images with the coordinating Honey Cuts wafer dies.
The sentiment is from one of my all-time-favorite Honey Bee sets - the Perfect Blend sentiment set. I originally was going to heat emboss it onto a separate piece of card stock then die cut and adhere - but there just happened to be enough space after adhering all the images to stamp it along the bottom (leaving more of the sky background exposed which I really loved).
I finished off the inside of the card with more sentiments from the Perfect Blend stamp set, and a couple more stamped and die cut images. The gift card is held in place thanks to Honey Bee's Gift Card Slots Honey Cuts wafer dies - it was perfect for this card!
