I REALLY like this fall color combo - they aren't colors I'd normally think of on my own to put together and yet I LOVE them together LOL!
I pulled out one of my all-time favourite floral stamp sets - Simon Says Stamp's Beautiful Flowers - and white heat embossed it onto some Strathmore watercolor paper. I then coloured it in with some Prima Watercolors and my Tonic Nuvo paint brushes.
The thankful die cut and stamped sentiment are from CZ Design, and I added some gold confetti to finish off the outside of the card.
On the inside of the card I stamped the large floral cluster with SSS Sunshine ink and stamped the sentiment from the CZ Design 30 Days of Thankful set with SSS Dark Chocolate ink and that was it!
I'm excited to be a Guest Designer this month for Tonic as they celebrate Nuvember!! I'll have a few posts throughout the month along with a bunch of other fabulous designers showcasing a bunch of Tonic's Nuvo line. If you don't follow Tonic on Instagram you can check out their feed HERE <-------click!

Hello everyone!! I have a LONG blog post with several cards today - it's new release time for Waffle Flower, plus I wanted to create more Christmas cards!! This post is part of a blog hop so if you didn't get here from the Waffle Flower blog you can start HERE and then I'll have links to all the other stops below!
There's also a GIVEAWAY with this post!! Info on that is at the end of this post!
So here are the newest stamps and dies from the Waffle Flower November release:
SO. MUCH. FUN!!
I made 2 different cards using the new Holiday Thanks stamp set:
My first card I stamped the image onto Distress watercolor card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed it. I then watercolored it in with Prima Classics watercolors, and once dry I die cut it with the coordinating wafer dies.
I blended Festive Berries and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink onto the card base, and once it was dry I white heat embossed a sentiment from the set onto the card base.
I adhered the scene to the card with Simon's Craft Tacky glue, and then added all the extra little images to finish off my scene.
For the second card I used a red card stock for my card base and heat embossed the image and sentiment with gold embossing powder. Honestly it could have been left at that but I wanted to add some more depth so I sponged on Candied Apple, Aged Mahogany and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks onto the card base as well.
I then added some Wink of Stella to different areas of the images to give them a TON of sparkle.
For both cards I stamped the insides with the same image to finish them off.
Once I got creating I couldn't stop LOL! These stamps and dies are from last month's release - links to all the products are down below!
I used the Pull Tab Tree wafer die to create my Christmas tree - and it literally pops up when you pull on the tab!! I then added all these cute kids from the Yippee stamp set and the Santa hats are from the Holiday Thanks set that I used above!
On the inside of the card I stamped images from the Christmas Tree stamp set using the same Oxide inks that I sponged on the front of the card.
For the second card I used the Pull Tab Tree dies again along with the Pull Tab Pop Up wafer dies - this came together SO quick and easy. I die cut all the "boughs" from green glitter card stock, and then attached them all to the tree "base".
I kept this card really clean and simple - but adding some gems/crystals as "ornaments" could really jazz it up if you wanted to!
Last but not least is a "bonus" card - which inspired my Christmas card above. I saw this card idea on Channin's blog a few weeks ago and thought it was brilliant and wanted to recreate it!!
Using the Pull Tab dies to create a party hat is brilliant (and in her post she made it into candy corn as well LOL!). I had ONE of these fun little glitter pom poms in my stash from one of my kids. It was the final push I needed to make this card as I didn't have anything before to add the "topper" to the birthday hat lol!
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Holiday Thanks set and then stamped the confetti and stars with a rainbow of Distress Inks and that was it!

Happy weekend everyone!! I've been feeling rather overwhelmed lately with life on all fronts - but one thing that REALLY helps a ton is getting things cleaned up and organized. Whether it's in my little office (which is what today's video helped accomplish) or in the rest of my house - ESPECIALLY since we'd moved less than 2 months ago. I've been working on what I can when I can and it feels SO good to empty a box or install a shelf or organize a closet section etc!
So I had orders from over the past several weeks/months pile up in my office (I literally am not kidding when I respond with "it's all over the floor" when people ask what do I do with it all). It was time to do some organizing/purging (I give away a lot - to a friend, to my kids, on here as giveaways and Patreon giveaways too, and then sell off things locally once I have the time to).
Anywho - all that said, the packages piled up, and then I received an incredibly generous gift from a subscriber - so rather than split up the haul videos into shorter segments over multiple videos I decided to do ONE BIG VIDEO:
And here are links to everything I showed/talked about in order:
ALSO - I was talking about how I got some items on SALE at SSS. Sales change - sometimes it's a code, sometimes they load up their Steals & Deals category (I always post when I know of a good one going on on my Instagram and Facebook pages b/c they're usually time sensitive!!).
FYI at SSS if you use the code PURF5 you can get $5 off your order!

Now for the GIVEAWAY!!!
I have a $50 Gift Voucher for Simon Says Stamp to give to one of you! This is not sponsored in any way I just felt like paying it forward and brightening someone's day!!
To be entered all you need to do is follow the steps in the Rafflecopter widget below (please make sure you're using a current e-mail address that you check frequently (I don't keep/see any person info other than the winner's e-mail address) as that's what I use to contact the winner!).
And just like that October is over and we're in November!! I was on the ball for once lol and got the October Happy Mail Haul organized and filmed for y'all:
If you'd like to mail a card to be featured in an upcoming Happy Mail Haul video here's my mailing address:
Amy Rysavy
Box 1041 MARTENSVILLE PO
Martensville, SK
S0K 2T0
Canada
November Theme: Christmas/Holiday
December Theme: Valentine's/Love/Pink & Red
January Theme: Circles (whether it be a circle shaped card or a circle frame - anything circular!)
(A repost of some important info!!)
Like I mention in all the Happy Mail Haul videos - I am not strict with the themes.. The post can be notoriously slow especially getting to me here in Canada, so I like to share everything that shows up in my PO Box the previous month regardless! If you ever want to check out previous months Happy Mail Haul videos you can find them all here:
If you want to send ahead and mail cards for multiple themes in the same package I am totally OK with that. It helps if you add a sticky note or something to mark what month each card is for. Please do not send more than 2 cards for each theme (so there are the 3 upcoming months therefore 6 cards in total). I cannot accept large packages/boxes of cards. I don't have anywhere to store large amounts plus it takes up a lot of my time to film/edit/upload these videos and limiting the submissions to 2 per person ensures it's fair for everyone. Thank you for understanding!
If you are interested in donating your cards there are MANY charities and organizations out there. You would need to do your own research to find a cause/group/organization that works for you and what you want to do! Everything from local nursing homes/palliative care units/Ronald McDonald Houses to charities to cards for troops is out there - LOTS to choose from!
Also if you haven't sent in a card before but want to go ahead! I love seeing what y'all are making, and being able to share it with the rest of my audience. We all have to start somewhere ;). Also again there's no need to send gifts or anything like that. I more than appreciate the thought, and I read all the letters I receive (I can't respond to them but I read and keep all of them!).
For those reading/watching - I would love if you'd take the time to leave comments/questions/etc for those that sent in something in the comments below and I know those that sent in would love to read them!
I have an affiliate relationship with Simon Says Stamp and they sponsor my blog. Affiliate links and this sponsorship help keep this blog and my social media running (and food on the table etc!), and affiliate links are at NO additional cost to the consumer.
