Now on to today's cards!!
I have had MFT's Birdie Brown Frightfully Sweet stamp set sitting on my desk for WEEK's now - WEEKS. So I had to make a point of actually using it before Halloween!!
I stamped all the images from the set onto Neenah card stock with MFT's Extreme Black ink and coloured them in with Copic markers and highlighted them with my Gelly Roll white gel pen.
I used MFT's Inside and Out Stitched Ovals Die-namics on the inside of the card to create the window - and used the "left over" oval on the outside of the card for this little scene.
Then you open the card to this really fun shadow box scene!!! It's crazy to think that after around 15 years of card making this is the first time I've ever made a shadow box card LOL!
They're really fun to make - and really easy - I explain the steps in my video but if you want to check out a REALLY good and in-depth video and haven't watched it already check out Jennifer McGuire's video HERE.
I used MFT's Birch Trees for my scene as well as the Mini Cloud Edges stencil and some Shaded Lilac Distress Ink with a Picket Fence Studios blending brush to create my scene for the shadow box portion of the cards. I then adhered everything together and added all my Frightfully Sweet characters to finish it all off.
You can see how these cards came together here:
