I did a combined Halloween/fall post for today - 2 cards using stamps and dies not meant for either season but easily adaptable for both:
I pulled out Honey Bee Stamps Shine On stamp set and decided to make the bottles using colors for each "theme" - so Halloween colors for a Halloween card and a more muted Fall palette to make a Fall-themed card.
I used Distress Inks to color in all the bottles - and for the "polish" parts I used my Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen instead of a water brush to do the watercoloring. It's hard to really see the sparkle in photos - but in real life they are SUPER sparkly when the light hits them!
I sponged the same colors on the bows and added Copic markers to intensify them before adhering them to the bottles. The sentiments were a combination of die cuts and heat embossed sentiments (from the HB Hey, Pumpkin! stamp set) that went with each theme.
For the insides of both cards I added another themed polish bottle and then stamped a sentiment from the Shine On stamp set and that was it!
