Hello everyone!! Before I get to the info and card using the STAMPtember® Honey Bee set just a heads up about the Tim Holtz STAMPtember® set:
I'm running behind - and this set hasn't shown up (Canada Post was doing SO good for a while there and then lately everything's slowed to a crawl it seems!!) - but I wanted to let y'all know about it!!
This is the Tim Holtz Exclusive STAMPtember® 2018 set of stamps and stencils!
You can check them out HERE <-------click! Like all the STAMPtember® releases this is LIMITED EDITION only while supplies last through September!
OK now on to my Honey Bee post!! ❤️
Honey Bee has joined in with the STAMPtember® celebrations and has released a Limited Edition Exclusive with Simon Says Stamp!!
You can check out the Tie One On set HERE <-----click!
Also there's a category on Simon Says Stamp for ALL the STAMPtember® exclusives HERE <-----click! Like previous STAMPtember® collaboration sets - these are exclusive to Simon Says Stamp and while supplies last. Once they're sold out and/or STAMPtember® is over they're gone!
Here's the card I made using this Limited Edition set!
I stamped the balloon images from the Tie One On set onto Distress Watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I then watercolored them with my Mission Gold watercolors. I didn't do any masking when I stamped the images and painted everything in layers so that they overlapped and looked like more transparent balloons.
Like I mention in the video: I wasn't happy with this card at first, after the watercoloring was done anyway. But I added some splatter with Picket Fence Distress Paint (when in doubt add splatter! lol), and after adding the sentiments I also adhered a bunch of jewels for some bling and that made me a LOT happier about this card!
I finished off the inside of the card with sentiments from the Tie One On set and that was it!
